This experimental mix is made of hybrid tracks that are part house, part tech-house, but also deep and funky giving it a minimal deep house vibe. Confusing i know! Then i threw few vocal commercial tracks in there to sweeten it a little bit, making it easier to swallow;)

Zoomers (aka Gen Z): it gives me great pleasure to share with you some of the music i grew up with, in the only form you know. electronic. This is not a cynical note in any way knowing: i listen to, and play electronic music almost full-time. But, i consider myself to be lucky to have also listened to other forms of music growing up such as: rock and pop, funk and soul, hiphop and rap, jazz and blues.. and more.

Xennials and Milliennials, i hope you enjoy this carefully curated mix with some of the best rock and metal remixes ever produced. Some i edited for this set.

I know it’s hard for producers to find original classic songs in ‘stems’ that allows for better remixes, but it’s a duty i feel for producers to preserve classic old music in whatever form it is finally presented.

The set features some of the most iconic rock stars: The Rolling Stones, Queen, The Doors, David Bowie, Eagles, Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, REM, Nirvana, Eric Clapton, and AC/DC.

Put aside for a moment our inherited egos and cravings, ideologies and politics, beliefs and traditions, we’re only human with exactly the same genome and from the very same first womb. Fast forward two hundred thousand years later, we are collectively at a scale of ignorance and stupidity that is mathematically impossible. I hope humanity finds its course one day. 

This is dedicated to Jerusalem, and to every sieged city in the world, pending to be won.

The set is inspired by stories told by a young girl living in Jerusalem; the feelings she goes through and the sounds she hears. I open with an acapella performed by palestinian vocalist Naï Barghouti in Arabic (originally by lebanese icon Fairuz), and i close with a heart-felt song by turkish producer Harun Yildiz in Spanish.

I am very happy to share this set that i curated and mixed back-to-back with my close friend Alaa Jazaeri • we started our music journey together few years ago and continued flowing around similar frequencies • this is Chapter 8 of a brand he founded in Arabia [Narratives].

The set is a Latino/Afro feel-good quest to the Caribbean jungle and back • a genre-hybrid mix of Melodic harmonies and Deep House grooves, wrapped around a scoliotic Organic spine • briefly, not a dull moment:)

The year is 1983, everywhere tension is rising and talks of cold war had begun. Ronald Reagan and Yuri Andropov launched a dick-measuring contest in the form of nuclear missiles, big dicks i must add. Michael Jackson meets Tina Turner for drinks at the Caesars Palace and decided: fuck this shit, let’s pretend they’re not here. Let’s call all our grownup friends.

As a result, great music was born that year. Music that goes on setting the tone for the rest of 80s; a golden era for hip, pop, rock, and everything in between; and the world became harmonious, and more in-tune.

Almost a true story.

Nora Alanbar was also born that year, a small star in her own big big world. She just turned 40 like many of you out there, except she inspired this mix. True story.

The entire set is made of “only” tracks released [1983]. This was the main challenge that soon turned into its charm, a diversity of genres that fusion nicely.

Bunker No.4 [3hr set]

I had the honor of opening the 1001 Festival's first edition. I began with a slow and steady pulse to welcome the early wanderers. But as the crowd swelled, I raised the energy like a rising moon.

With little expectation but open hearts, people stepped through the festival gates… and into a fantasy storybook.The scale of the event, the design of the three stages, and the sheer attention to detail were breathtaking. Shoutout to my friends at MDL Beast for bringing this vision to life so beautifully.

To have been part of this enchanting festival’s very first chapter is a privilege I hold dear, in a country I call my home away from home. I can’t wait to return and share another story in music.

Perspectives Vol.1

Silvio’s journey began behind the scenes of some of the region’s most acclaimed concerts, as he toured at a young age alongside legendary artists such as Roger Water, Scorpions, Pavarotti, Montserrat Caballé, and Fairuz. His passion for storytelling led him to study Film & Theatre, where he went on to produce award-winning films—projects deeply rooted in original music scores.

Based in Tulum on Mexico’s Caribbean coast, Silvio has crafted a distinct sound: a seductive fusion of Deep Afro House, infused with elements of Indie Dance and Melodic House.

In recent years, he has shared the decks with artists like Lee Burridge, Oliver Koletzki, Lemurian, Mihai Pol, Just Emma, Aaron Sevilla, Chambord, WAFF, Mahmut Orhan, Moblack, and Space Motion. Recent performances include sets in Tulum, Mexico City, São Paulo, Miami, and Riyadh.

Silvio doesnt just play music—he scores journeys. Each set he plays, is a cinematic experience.
