I composed this song in 2002 and is dedicated to people who love books, especially paper books, which are becoming an endangered species. I wanted to make it very tonal and keeping both voices the whole time. I hope you like it.

400 days.  400 tracks.  Big round numbers are fun, aren't they?  

Interbay has now posted 400 brand new tracks on SoundCloud--one each day for four hundred straight days.  That's a LOT of music.  And there's no sign of the streak breaking any time soon!  

Today's track is your typical blend of nearly every possible subgenre of electronic dance music and synth pop all rolled around a big pile of sparkly pop glitter.  It is everything all at once and it is nothing in particular.  

Some sharp eared SoundCloud adventurers might recognize the vocal snips that Icarus braved the heat of the sun to provide.  I like finding new ways to repurpose things that remain lodged in my brain, even after four decades or more.  

But, if you don't recognize it--that's ok.  Everything will be all right.  

As I often admit, this is a track that might benefit from a radio edit--song lengths of Interbay tracks have trended upward again.  Nothing intentional, I'm sure it will balance out again soon--so expect some three to four minute wonders on the way soon.  

This was the track that I'd intended to post when the overreaction by the current regime in federalizing the California National Guard and sending Marines to police Americans in an American city pushed me to release "Rammifications" on that day instead.  On that day, it sure didn't feel like we would "Be All Right" on that day...and I'd like to say that our future is far brighter today--but every day seems to bring a new outrage, a new fear...  

So, maybe posting this track today--and having it be the 400th Interbay track on SoundCloud--is my way of trying to remain hopeful for the future?  I'd like to believe that--and if it worked for you, let me know!
