Hybrid Theory are a DJ and Production duo from the cultural hub of the midlands, Birmingham. They have been blazing the UK Bass scene in style since they started now infamous Four40 imprint in 2010.

These guys have taken the UKBass scene by storm with their duty ghost warps, snappy saw’s and the heavy broken beat patten is the winning combination for these guys.

For the Hybrid boys appearances on Diplo's Mad Decent and Norman Cook's Southern Fried Records followed cementing their foothold in the scene as tastemakers in high demand. The guys were most notable so far seeing the release of their much anticipated EP on Champion's genre-bending Formula Records. In 2015 brand new releases will drop first on Jakwob's Boomting Recordings, These guys have a foothold in the music seen now collaborating with some of the top artists in the world. The collaboration with Stanton Warriors had a huge effect on the American breaks music scene, witch lead the guy’s to a 5 state American tour from LA to New York. Not to mention traveling across Europe, to destinations like Germany, Sweeden, Amsterdam, Belguim, Italy, plus many more.

If this kind of output wasn't enough Hybrid have been working tirelessly on preparations for a host of Guest-mixes for BBC Radio 1 and 1xtra following enthusiastic support on the BBC, RINSE FM and KISS, from the likes of Monki, DJ Target, MistaJam, Sian Anderson, Annie Nightingale, TODDLA-T and more (Not to mention other scene heavyweights like DIPLO, ETON MESSY, DJ EZ and ONEMAN)

The label is dedicated to releasing vinyl that showcases the full spectrum of the techno continuum, from its earlier works with a distinct Detroit groove to its latest releases which are ready made for play in the darkest and grittiest of warehouses.

A trip through the label’s catalog showcases a deep connection with the soul of techno with appearances by Perc, Truncate, Mark Broom, Xhin, Kyle Geiger, Jerome Sydenham, Fred P, DJ Qu, John Tejada, Ambivalent, and Jonas Kopp among others. There are few places where this intersection of sounds and styles can coexist harmoniously. Hidden is one of these places. 

For nearly two decades, Hidden has been a mainstay in record bags for all DJs, from locals to the stars of the underground.

Haber is a Naarm-based producer, DJ, event architect and label head crafting hypnotic, high-pressure soundscapes that dissolve genre boundaries. His sets trace a shadowy arc from 128 to 175 BPM, blending deep techno, psy-tech and psychedelic prog into immersive, body-guided journeys.

With over a decade behind decks and machines, Haber has shaped floors across Naarm and beyond, channeling energy at bush gatherings and festivals including Esoteric, Interstellar Groove, Festival 23, Astralientech, and Rainbow Serpent (Renegade Stage). 
With international transmissions reaching Tokyo and Seoul.
In 2023, a European adventure brought a refined direction to his journey, connecting with new artists, communities, soaking inspiration, and performing in Portugal and at Wicked Wonderland Gathering in Norway.

Through his collective Capture and label Imminatia Recordings, he platforms experimental voices from the fringes of electronic music. 

Imminatia Recordings release catalogue includes his own conceptual albums, Manifestation of the Celestial and Dalton Driver in the Land of the Lonesome. Works that explore altered states and layered dimensions.

With past releases on respected labels such as Techgnosis, Alpaka Muzik, and Software Zero Music, Haber is now deep in the process of assembling his next full-length album, a continuation of his sonic mythos.

DJ, Producer & Remixer
Leon de Mar aka (LdM), found his love for music in the late 80s. Jean Michael Jarre and Mike Oldfield gave him his first impressions in electronic music, but the atmospheric surface was always in the foreground.

He began to cut radio show’s to make tapes for his friends. In the early 90sall makes sense, and he began to mixup his tapes with more rhythm, so it would more danceable. The mid-90s would also electronic music or house music an integral part of his life. With influences from Armand van Helden, Bob Sinclar, Phats & Small and Soulsearcher, to name only a few artists who gave him a new musical perspective.

From that time he was addicted to HOUSE MUSIC and he began to sale records from his favourite artists and at the same time he also tried his hand as a DJ and found his first real resident job (in 2000) for a small club in Duisburg (Steinbruch / Boxenstop) and he was there for two years.

Since 2002 he is resident in his hometown Oberhausen in the club “Gecko-Torhaus” you can hear his musicianship regularly at any event.

In 2006 LdM established his own studio to realize his own ideas. LdM managed with his co-worker O.A.X that two of his own productions from 2007 to be adopted by Ocean Drive Records under the name LAP.

After this amazing launch Leon de Mar started producing more own tracks under the name LdM and released on the following labels: 040 Recordings (DE), Feierkind-Records (DE), Consistent Records (Den Haag(NL)) Purple Sun Records (Britain(UK)), SLiCK Records (Britain(UK)), Big Big Soundz Recordings (France) only to name a few.

A description of my work:

The things I upload are hit-and-miss.
...I started producing a long time ago, but now don't take it as seriously, and just do it as a hobby on and off. and so my music is generally sparser, simpler, and not as intricate. (I rarely use samples on my current setup). the setup I use has been considerably downscaled, from a sequencer, sound system and out-board equipment, to a laptop with Fruityloops. But I still practice mixdowns (Fruityloops has good EQs) - and mastering (using separate software) which is taking a while to master (no pun intended): It's probably the thing I find most difficult of all.

so I'll be using my soundcloud profile to upload some of the bits and bobs from the vaults, otherwise they'll never see the light of day. It'll mostly be my Fruityloops stuff from 2009 onwards. the setup is a basic pentium laptop and Fruityloops (FL studio 4). 

these instrumentals are all quite basic, but they should give you a rough idea of the production and mastering levels I'm currently dealing with. none are serious projects. they are me toying about.
