Multi Genre DJ, Started in my first club in Worthing Sussex at age of 14 and have not put the music down since, Was a Regular visiter to Sterns Underground in Highdown Sussex and every Sunday spent at the Beachcomber Club in Brighton until the age of 26 before moving to London, Grew up with some now big name DJ's around me and became a VJ with projector's and graphics until covid lockdown hit then started on the Decks and here we are today loving and mixing everything that has a danceable tune to it. I will happily perform for any Online Radio Stations and Clubs or Parties but sadly can not commit to a regular station, although regular venue would be nice.

Mickey's Love for Music started at a very young age when he picked up his first Trumpet at the age of 11.
Mickey started his love for music in the 80's with really old school house, to Sterns Underground with Interdance in Highdown Sussex and London where Mickey could always be found hanging around Whoop Whoop parties in Woolwich through to the main Underground scene in London where he discovered the Fridge on a Friday night with it's PSY/Goa Trance nights where I met Shakti, Ollie Wisdom from Space Tribe, Astrix but to name the few.
Covid Lockdown that was it, Studio re built and finding himself playing for Online Radio Stations all over the world from Dubai through to The UK Mickey re surfaced under his VJ Nickname
DJ MickyTek.

I always had an ear for different Music to the people around me as a youngster through my father's influence through his musical tastes. Prince / James Brown / Massive Attack / Harold Budd to name a few. 

My main inspirations though didn't hit me until the age of 15 when I first experienced the genre of music that would grip his musical taste that is House Music.

Out In the Sticks and Manchesters Sankys Soap REDLIGHT,It was the Deep warm up sets of Craig Edwards from the Sticks and Manchester's own Krysko of Sankey's Soap's Red Light where I got my Deep Roots from.

These nights are what got me started with Djing in and around the Bars & Clubs in the North & South of England.. Huddersfields Club Non / The Tube (Halifax) / Sankeys Soap & The Attic (Manchester) / Mambo (Reading) / Subb 89 (Reading) / Ministry Of Sound (London) / Factory (London)/ Kraak Gallery (Manchester) / Cargo (London) / Pacha (London) / McQueen (Shoreditch London). 

It was then time to take the love of House out of the booth and into the studio where I was to take the producer suda-name Deep Trouble... Through Deep Trouble I have had a string of releases including remixes for DJN Project & the House Music legend Arnold Jarvis (MediaWave) / BeatenSoul & Tyree Cooper (Seemless Recordings) / Sinuous (platinum) / Kristopher Muse As well as his Own Productions Let It Out (Baldeelox) & Keep That Record (BlackSoul Music)/ Feel So - FTC Records / Italian Label Golden Factory Records / Plastik People Records / Love 2 Be. I’m a Perth based DJ who’s love of music has been a lifelong passion. Growing up in a household where music was playing from dawn til dusk, whether it was Rock’n’Roll, Northern Soul, Disco, Motown and everything in between I was exposed to it and loved every bit of it. My big love in the 90’s was R’n’B - Hip Hop with house music being a natural progression. Been lucky to have played gigs @ Perths longest running club Geisha, RTRFM Looney Choons Show, Seabreeze Promotions, Little Stiller, Boat Parties, Pirates Of Perth & more.
