I love old school trance, progressive (house/trance/techno/breaks), '02 style tech/tribal house (think King Unique/Omid 16B), minimal/melodic techno, ambient (guess who), electronica/IDM (mostly Aphex Twin, Clark, Autechre), electro, dubstep/future garage/futurebeats, some deep/indie house/dubtechno, and that 3am killer, acid.

My favourite DJs and producers are: Sasha, James Holden, Guy J, Luke Chable, John Digweed, Henry Saiz , Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, James Zabiela, King Unique, Nomad in the Dark and Royal Sapien, Desyn Masielo (and co.) to name a handful. I guess, check the people I follow...

Long term underground DJs e.g. Speedy J, Dave Seaman and Lee Burridge, intrigue me greatly, and generally warrant a look in on a night out, even if outside my usual music tastes; partly because I'm interested in DJing, and what makes a DJ great.

My guilty pleasure is anything with 'hard' in the genre name; Hard trance, Hard house, Hard techno etc., and commercial trance from '95 to '02 or so, but this is mostly from that being the soundtrack to my pre- and teen years.
