The first release of the year from Hot Trax comes from the German duo Raumakustik, with Jamie Jones on remix duty. Having had recent releases on a Grain Audio, Ipoly & Mangue Records, “Raider” is their debut on the Hot Creations subsidiary.

Raumakustik deliver a high energy and rhythmic track with ‘Raider’. The industrial tech-heavy sounds are perfectly mixed with catchy drums and a calling bell. Over on the B-side, Jamie Jones delivers a darker remix to drive music lovers to the dancefloor.

Sebastian and Volker are Raumakustik. They have been creating music together for a number of years and believe in creating tracks that will not only bring listeners to the dancefloor but also stay in their memory.

Jamie Jones launched Hot Trax in 2012 after wanting to create a label that moved away from the well-known and popular sounds of Hot Creations. It has been described as a label for the “headstrong” with previous releases coming from Patrick Topping and wAFF.

I’m very happy to announce a mix for the DJ-Kicks series. Double vinyl, CD and digital versions will be released 11th November on !K7​. The mix represents my three years spent on the road since Drone Logic but also the time I’ve recently had in the studio. Here’s the video for Space Echo, one of three new tracks I recorded exclusively for the project. It feels like an exciting time right now. Following on from his most recent '7 Souls' release, Fennec & Wolf this time offers up two killer originals 'Krøpte' and 'Voices Of Ghoul', the first of which steps up as the title track for the Krøpte EP. 

The journey begins with six minutes of tantalising tech house, packed with nerve jangling synths and wiry electronics all underpinned by big brooding drums. The sweat really starts to run following a soaring build up that grows and grows before throwing you back into the almost hypnotic groove.

'Voices Of Ghoul' then takes a more spooky and deeper house path, carried by the repetitive jittering high end synth that skips and darts throughout the tracks entirety  It has rubbery drums and freaky pitched down vocals, as well as soul infused chords draped over the whole thing to bring a slightly warming touch. 

Rounding things off, the Definition remix of 'Voices Of Ghoul' is then filled with bell sounds and lush harmonies, deep bass and subtle uplifting emotions.
