With the manga having reached its final chapter and the series getting a second season, I figured I give the remix of "Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card" another chance and began working on it once again. Hope to finish this by the time the announcement of the release date for the second season.

This fun 90's drum & bass remix of 'The Adventures Of Tintin' (1991) by Hergé was a blast to make. I religiously watched this as a young lad and became fascinated by the famous comics as it sparked my creativity.

I had a lot of fun messing around with odd time signatures and harmony to create mysterious moods that I think matches the vibe of the original adventurous series.

Composed with samples from the show's soundtrack and dialogue/vocals.

Remix8 (Plonk Edit)

Here’s something different; a remix of a remix! Smuffy is another figure I look up to in the plunderphonics community. His recent departure from making music and making all of his samples and projects ‘open source’ has really opened the floodgates for the community to get creative; which I had to join in myself!

I had a lot of fun playing around with the chord structure and even the vocal sampling, paying homage to Smuffy’s eclectic sampling from a range of films/tv shows. Composed using samples from the original track, and vocals from Smuffy’s open sourced sample folder on Archive.org!
