Hi, I'm a Hip-Hop rapper/MC, and my name is 'Halo' aka 'The H-Bomb'! I started rapping seriously around the year 2000, after drunken house party freestyles and proper freestyle sessions with my friend and mentor Solo Cypher. I decided to perfect my craft of on the spot freestyling and rhyming in general, before writing lyrics and whole songs! When I went to university, I formed a 3-man rap group with my friends JD Sykex and Geo-Graphic. We called ourselves the Mic Rippers. We did several shows and put out 2 self-made mixtapes. I also linked up with Vice and became part o his Streetsoul Productions label after university. Still loosely connected with the label, I am working on various musical projects including my forthcoming self-made solo album 'Got Love For The Music'! A lot of people describe my style as old-school or more US, but I'd just like to think of it as Hip-Hop. More generally, I'm just trying to make good music that is fun and thought provoking, and most importantly inspiring! Thanks for taking the time to check my music! And sorry for babbling...
