Stephen Covell is a California native singer-songwriter. Taking to music at a young age, he began playing the piano by ear at six years old and after a short and tumultuous relationship with the trumpet he picked up an acoustic guitar and never looked back. 

At the University of Arizona, Stephen studied in the vocal performance program and sang with the University Symphonic Choir, but forgot to go to the rest of his classes. This indirectly resulted in him becoming an Army combat medic in the 82nd Airborne and serving two tours in Iraq. 

Currently, Stephen is a member of Operation Encore, a non-profit organization that helps veteran songwriters record and perform their original music.
