we all have this beast inside of us/trained or confined:/let it run /jump/blur/until every spike of fur spits water/until its teeth are bared with glee and hunt and it spins into the silence of your work and you are able to dedicate ten years to some small, strange pursuit.
you must learn to ride, to work with foreign species, to insert your will into every fork and plate and pan you cook with until the food is an extension of the hands that prepared it and the brain that dreamed it.
you must learn to score thick paper and fold it into designs.
you must learn to squeeze lemons into smiling forces that sputter up.
that’s the important thing, that’s how this piece was written, that’s how your beast/trained or confined/can run

Haven't shared anything that I composed in awhile.  Here is an Opus dedicated to science and the large Hadron Collider.

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is by far the world’s largest, highest-energy subatomic particle collider. In order to increase its reach in exploring the subatomic universe in the search for Dark-Matter and other new particles, LHC will be upgraded to provide an even higher rate (the ‘luminosity’) of proton-proton collisions.
