I  reread this book a bunch looking for stuff I could include in this song. I could go on a long rant about that process but nobody wants that.  I love the ending where the guy betrays his lover and then they have to look each other in the eye at the weird doomed café. It is such a mood.

You can hear a teakettle in the background but I like the vibe so I left it. 
It feels right.  If I try to re-record this song now, it won't have the original passion and perfectly timed tea-kettle...
