I use this profile to present my covers of songs that I've performed over many years of performing in pubs, clubs at weddings and functions etc. A lot are the result of repeated requests and some are personal favourites of mine. I'd like to announce that I'll now be using my middle name for music and any other work related purposes from now on. Aside from the odd racing driver joke, the name Lewis Hamilton has actually become a logistical nightmare as far as monetising and google search optimization goes. Given the pandemic, i feel now is as good a time as any to rebrand. For music, gigs & live streaming i'll be using my middle name, Alexander shortened to Alex. The Lewis Hamilton Band will become The Alex Hamilton Band and my personal Facebook name will be changed next month. There will be a brief period while we alter titles, websites and links but it should be a relatively quick change. If you want to get a few racing driver jokes in, now is the time to do it :)

Twenty eight year old Alex Hamilton (formerly Lewis Hamilton) has been part of the British Blues/Rock scene for over ten years. Gaining notoriety on the back of being a talented young guitarist with skills beyond his age, he has since matured and developed a tasteful and subtle guitar technique that has been compared to Robben Ford and Matt Scofield. His debut album at the age of 18 won the Scottish New Music Award in 2011 and his subsequent albums have all been nominated for awards including the British Blues Awards, several years running.

Having toured in dozens all across Britain and extensively in Europe with his trio 'The Alex Hamilton Band', he has regularly sold out theatres and music clubs across the globe, gaining a following of musicians and music fans alike. In the last ten years Alex has been fortunate enough to share stages with some of the best musicians in his genre including Carl Verheyen, Anysley Lister, Henrik Freishlader and King King.​

With multiple award winning albums, a strong fanbase, growing online presence, endorsements form some notable manufactures and continuous radio play across the world Alex Hamilton's music is starting to be heard.

Hi I'm Warabe (Warabe Tatekoji - 舘小路 童), I'm the singer & guitarist with "PeaSoup" and my recently reformed (2024) "Waranoid-T".

I'm originally from Japan but settled in the UK and a keen guitarist/vocalist, that loves to play live & interact with the audience with a deep love of Blues, Funk, Groove & Soul.

In 1990 aged 17 I started my public performances playing pubs, clubs & Blues festivals in the UK with Blues Power (Now "East Coast Blues Band"). I then joined the fantastic Toni Spearman in the early 90's continuing to play the Blues. I then formed Warabe T Band playing the Blues. In the mid 90's to early 2000 I was very active with my then band Waranoid T playing a mixture of Blues, Funk, Fusion & Rock.  Since then I've been involved with other people's projects and the occasional performances. 

Since 2020, I've re-started my own music writing and creations after many years of not been active in this area. 

I love to Funk out on the Bass guitar too and recently discovered the joy of Saxophone and Drums. As well as re-discovering my love of playing piano/keyboards.

Here I'll be showcasing my new materials (bands and solo) and occasionally materials from the past in hope that people will enjoy some of my musical creations.
