SIMON inizia a soli 8 anni prendendo confidenza con gli storici piatti Technics 1200 e, noncurante dei danni prodotti agli strumenti professionali del papa’, a 12 anni, seguito dal DJ resident de locale, inizia a mixare ritmi dance dietro la consolle della discoteca Paradise di Marinella di Sarzana. Simon Bontempi nato a Massa il 29 Ottobre del 1984, è figlio di Checco Bontempi (già LEE MARROW negli anni 80), DJ e produttore discografico tra i più famosi al mondo, da ricordare una delle sue piu’ grandi produzioni discografiche dance, CORONA, che con i singoli THE RHYTHM OF THE NIGHT, BABY BABY. TRY ME OUT, I DON’T WANNA BE A STAR, e l’album,  conquista  le vette delle classifiche di tutto il mondo vendendo milioni i dischi. 
Nel Settembre 2002 Simon  entra a far parte del team discografico di Joe T. Vannelli con il suo primo disco intitolato To The Beat Feat. Kimberly su etichetta Clubbin’.
La cantante Kimberly, voce trainante del disco To The Beat, ha un curriculum da fare invidia alle piu’ grandi star Soul del mondo, basta dire che come madrina al suo battesimo aveva Gloria Gaynor. Dopo aver riscosso consensi positivi nel settore discografico, nel Febbraio 2005 ha il piacere di essere in primo piano con un’altro singolo, questo progetto si chiama SIMON From DEEP DIVAS Feat. K.GEE intitolato The Party (Thank Got It’s Friday) programmato nel Deejay Time di Albertino e pubblicato dalla Time su etichetta Rise.
Consolidata la collaborazione con la Melodica, sempre su etichetta Tambour esce Riviera, il singolo del 2008, un treno che vaga tra la minimal e la techno ma il vero scossone si ha nel Febbraio 2009 quando esce il nuovo singolo di SIMON From DEEP DIVAS, si chiama Sweat (Push It), nata in sole 3 ore. Durante l’estate 2009 Simon lavora sul disco di Mario Fargetta aka Get  Far intitolato “The Radio” remixandolo e affermandosi come remixer, l’impatto è fortissimo, oltre  le previsioni e le sue performance nei club sono sempre più richieste.
L’anno 2010 si apre ancora meglio, la Warner Bros/Atlantic, sceglie Simon come unico DJ italiano per il remix del nuovo singolo di Toni Braxton “So Yesterday.
Si arriva quindi a luglio 2010 quando Simon torna in studio e con il suo team collaudato realizza una nuova versione di "The Rhythm of the night" di Corona utilizzando le voci originali del megahit degli anni 90. Il brano esce su etichetta DWA che ne inizia la distribuzione a metà estate iniziando a stringere accordi con vari partner internazionali per la pubblicazione in altri mercati. Nel mese di settembre Simon inizia un nuovo tour nelle discoteche italiane e pubblica un videoclip filmato durante l'estate.
Il 31 Gennaio 2011 esce “Turn Up The Bass” su Restylers Records, che entra immediatamente nelle grazie del DJ Stonebridge che lo inserisce al 1° posto nella classifica dei suoi preferiti e Roger Sanchcez  gli da una valutazione di 4 stelle su 5, ottimo anche il video girato a Chicago.
Esce anche un bellisimo remix del brano di ZUCCHERO – VEDO NERO il tutto in attesa di ‘’Disco Dancer’’, il suo nuovo singolo per l’estate 2011, che oltre ad essere stato uno dei brani più ballati nelle discoteche  ha raggiunto la posizone n°6 nella classifica più importante in Spagna (MAXIMA 51 CHART).
L’anno 2012 si apre con 2 importanti remix.
Infatti le piste da ballo impazziscono per il suo remix di TWISTED del famoso dj MOLELLA e per ALL ABOUT YOU del Dj e conduttore televisivo  di MATCH MUSIC CHRISTIAN VLAD.
Agosto 2012 esce EVERYBODY’S FREE sempre su etichetta Restylers che sta riscuotendo ottimi consensi soprattutto in Europa.
Il 2012 si chiuderà con il remix del famoso dj olandese MARCO V insieme ai colleghi DOCTORS IN FLORENCE per il brano LOTUS su etichetta FLAMINGO(FEDDE LE GRAND) e con il nuovo SIMON From DEEP DIVAS Vs. CORONA - BABY BABY in uscita sul mercato nei primissimi mesi del 2013.
