'Make me ready for the arrival of the rain
which is expected heavy but needed.
Show me what I can get rid of
pruning shrubs along the fluvial corridor.
And if we must leave 
the fourth industrial revolution behind
its augmented social reality 
to repair our notion of mortality
help me not to falter.
We may remain one day, one last day.'

Make Me Ready

A beautiful and personal statement about the passing of time not unlike a mirage of reality; you can see it, but reach for it and it disappears. Lovely performance by Peter in his playing and singing, and superb synth ornamentation by Seagull and Dan.
Peter's lyrics:

Nowhere at the speed of light,
Nothing in my mind.
A dream of futures past.
Precious in my heart,
But it never came to pass.
Rearranged all my drawers of memory's worn out socks,
Corrected all my broken lifetime's kitchen clocks.
