Bass player born in Paris, Antoine Brochot studied at the Argenteuil and Bourg-la-Reine conservatories, then at the Haute École de Musique in Lausanne where he obtained a Master's degree in jazz pedagogy.
During his studies, he had the chance to study with musicians such as Pierre Boussaguet, Laurent Coq or Yann Dubost who were true mentors. His interest in the New York scene allowed him to rub shoulders with local jam sessions and to study with Joe Sanders and David Binney.
In demand as a sideman, Antoine Brochot has performed in various projects such as Cynthia Abraham Trio, Les Mains Sales, Marina Viotti " Love Has no Border ", Anouar Kaddour Cherif Quartet, Thomas Mayeras Trio etc.
Particularly active in France and Switzerland, he was the leader of a Parisian trio with Thomas Mayeras and Germain Cornet, whose EP will be released at Sunside in 2019. In June of the same year, his quintet project "Resilience" reached the finals of the Tremplin Jazz à Saint-Germain-Des-Prés. In the summer of 2021 he recorded his first album under the label Art District, with a new Franco-Swiss quartet. The project has since attracted the attention of TSF jazz, Jazz News, Jazz Magazine, The Walkers in Japan, FIP radio.
Antoine had the opportunity to appear at the Paleo Festival, the Django Reinhardt Festival, the Montreux Jazz Festival, as a finalist of the Tremplin Jazz à Saint-Germain des Prés, the Avignon Festival, the Sunset-Sunside, the Bellevilloise, the Hot Club de Lyon etc.
