Launching their debut EP 'Elephone' in April 2013, Zarm's music has been captivating both new and old listeners with their vibrant fusion of roots, island rhythms, soul, reggae, blues and folktronic flavours for a long time. Working alongside fellow West Australian engineer Dan Carroll, they brought together some highly respected musicians; Seychelles songstress and Joelle's sister, Grace Barbé, legendary Australian saxophonist Bill Rogers, drumming aficionado Freddy Poncin, Jamaican DJ Flex Gayle, Thierryno Gangou, Jamie Searle, and visual artists Henrique Kwong and Marek Szyler.

On Zarm's live show, expect a fresh, contemporary roots sound with tastes of Creole swing, phat beats, great melodies, heartfelt vocals, positive vibes and bucketfuls of hip swaying groove.

China Blue (Darren Forster) is a Kalgoorlie based blues/pop styled singer/songwriter. His music draws on wide reaching influences, an eclectic style and a troubled personality. With signature ashy vocals and often dark lyrical musings, China Blue habitually combines with his band of brothers, misfits and some of the hottest musos in WA, to form ‘The China Blue Experiment.’ As an outfit, The China Blue Experiment deliver improvisation heavy, super energised and edge of your seat arrangements of TCBE catalogue.
