Simon Le Ma is the hyperactive leader of a funky church service.

In 2023, the Ghent-based songwriter found himself without a band, lust for life or girlfriend. On a drizzly Sunday, he wrenched a song from his soul, which ultimately led to two tragicomic albums.

Today, Le Ma seeks solace in a new religion: the third album is a danceable record that reeks of hopeful funk, Motown, and old-school sweat. Propelled by sharp horns, grainy drums, driving Jamerson bass lines and nostalgic strings, Le Ma sweats the doubt and despair out of his body.
