Swiss music producer Thom Nagy - @thomnagy - released his "Damals" EP last year. The compilation involved his distinctive broad sounds, fluttering synths and warm subtly-applied basses. The EP's three tracks have now been remixed and will be published as Basel-based Gelbes Billet Musik's 30th release on April 30th, 2014.

Der Schweizer Musikproduzent Thom Nagy - @thomnagy - brachte im vergangenen Jahr seine EP "Damals" raus. Die Zusammenstellung bestand aus seinen charakteristischen, weiten Hallräumen, flatternden Synths und warmen, subtil eingesetzten Bässen. Die drei Werke der EP wurden nun geremixed und am 30. April 2014 auf dem Label auf dem Label Gelbes Billett Musik, das in Basel sitzt, als 30. Katalognummer veröffentlicht. Rampues Version bietet trndmusik bis Ende der Woche als kostenlosen Download an.

You can’t deny that the combination of the Mediterranean & the Middle East can add a glow to the world of house music. Vinyl Mode, having a combination of both (The Greek and the Saudi) are two disc jockeys and producers that have been formed in 2011. It was a milestone for both these music-enthusiasts when the duo was created… 

Harris Mavromatis (The Greek) who lived in Montreal’s vibrant EDM culture, played in clubs for 3 years and was hosted several times by Gabriel Batz (Ora Recordings) on the famous Montreal Mix Sessions radio show. Through this all, Harris have strongly developed his inner-calling of electronic music. On the other side, you’ve got Muhannad Nassar (The Saudi) who was an established DJ in the Jeddah underground scene, playing Deep and Funky House, Together as Vinyl Mode, synergy was built; and the harmony grew as they played together… Team Work, enhanced DJ skills, technical mixing abilities, right track selection, niche crowds, trained listeners, house music groovers, made them reach top levels of prominence in the Saudi Arabian underground scene. 

A year later… Big Bang: Early 2012 is when Vinyl Mode released their Tune Your Senses compilation CD with the famous Destination Jeddah Magazine. At the same time, Vinyl Mode started playing internationally, hosted by big clubs next to famous DJs, spreading their sounds and foot prints outside the Kingdom. Bahrain is a regular destination for them as they have a monthly residence with Xclusive, as well as Beirut with Rinov8 Agency. Their gigs also included the beautiful island of Mykonos where summer travelers soaked themselves in the sun, the sea and Vinyl Mode’s beats. They play in style, so they also hosted many fashion events between Jeddah and Riyadh (Ot Kutyr fashion house and Harvey Nichols to name a few).

Radioshows: Vinyl Mode have built a platform of fans and loyal listeners on their Mykonian Sessions. Currently Resident DJ's at HeavyG Radio Station (Greece, Mykonos) Weekly Radioshow every Thursday 00:00 Midnight to 02:00 (UTC+3:00). If you haven’t heard these delightful sessions, You Should.

Podcast: Tune your senses, Vinyl Mode’s monthly podcast has turned to a big success. They have attracted thousands of listeners across the globe, having subscribed on the iTunes Store and Soundcloud.

Vinyl Mode have also won a spot among top DJs in the Kingdom, receiving excellent reviews for their events/performances and were rated #1 by 90D Magazine. Lately the media have started spotting more light on the phenomenon Vinyl Mode. Design Magazine, What’s Up Jeddah, and Arab News are some of the recent publications with articles about them.

Finally, their latest success revealed their musical influence to be resident DJs on the Saudi radio station… Now, that is a revolution.. They produce music, play music, produce art, create the hype of events & events themselves; that are all so very hard to forget.. Currently they are working as resident DJs, in Saudia Radio (FM 96.2), HeavyG Super Paradise Radio (Mykonos, Greece), Artists/Producers in Glowrec (Amsterdam, Netherlands), Resident DJ's in Rinov8 Group (Beirut, Lebanon).

Even if it’s just the second time, it feels like a tradition of ours to release a remix collection of our „Lost“ compilation. Last year in October we had our 6 year club anniversary and for this reason our residents and label artists DJ Aroma, Iorie, Kuriose Naturale, Madmotormiquel, Mario Aureo & Manuel Moreno and Patryk Molinari delivered six outstanding original tracks. Now, half a year later, it’s time for some fresh interpretations. We’ve asked our friends Soukie & Windish, Sebo, Gunjah & Niconé, Spieltape and Tim Engelhardt for this task and even our label head Mario Aureo couldn’t resist the chance to put his hands on a track. We think that all these names already speak for themselves so now it’s your turn to give these amazing works a listen. We are proud to start the new year with such an eclectic release but we also promise that this won’t be the end of the story in 2016!
