My goodness finally. Ever since I made the base track from desires I wanted to make some lyrics for it. And after remaking everything, changing the tuning I think I got it.

Only thing that I struggle with now (maybe it's because I still use basic home equipment) is getting the vocal tracks right in volume. That was a pain in the butt. So If you guys have any tips on getting that better, I'm all ears. Maybe it will get a resung version in the future. I guess that's kinda my thing for now. Starting a project, and reshaping it once I get better/new stuff.

Anyway, enjoy the track. And have fun this summer!

[Edit 21/05/23] Replaced the file. I tuned it 1 tone down, fixed the vocals and finally I am happy!! Now the summer can begin :D

[Another edit. Highly perfectionist me wasn't happy with the vocals. + new vocal processor. Hopefully this is the last replace for now :-) ]

This is a song about forgiveness. 

Years ago a friend's father had died. He was deeply upset because he couldn't bring himself to respect his father saying that he'd failed as a father. It was clear that he did not believe that his father had done his best. I said 'maybe not, but he probably did the best he knew how". That phrase made a difference to my friend and, perhaps, allowed him to look at his father in a different way. It stuck with me ever since.

This is also my story and possibly every parent's story. We all fail to some extent. We all could have done better and wish we had. But we all did what we knew to do. We can only hope that it was enough.

Kapitel: Sonnenwach
Der Beton ist warm. Zu warm. Die Sonne ist kein Licht mehr, sondern ein Brennpunkt. Ich liege da, halb auf dem Rücken, halb in einem Zustand zwischen REM und Realität. Der Schnarcher, der mir aus der Nase kriecht, ist laut genug, um mich selbst zu wecken – nicht erschrocken, eher verwundert. Mein Schatten hängt noch am Boden, als sei er in der Nacht festgewachsen. Und dann stehen sie da. Zwei Frauen. Wie aus einer anderen Szene ausgeschnitten. Eine mit Locken, die nach Hitzestaub riechen. Die andere mit Blicken, die wie Diagnosegeräte wirken.
„Du musst das Bad machen,“ sagt die eine. „Die Spinnenweben. Die Flächen. Essigreiniger steht da.“ Kein „Hallo“, kein „Wie geht’s“. Nur ein Auftrag – präzise und mit dem Tonfall, den man sonst für ein Skalpell benutzt. Ich rolle mich hoch, mein Körper knarzt wie eine alte Zellentür.
Der Beton ist nun glühend, nicht nur warm. Er speichert die Gespräche der Sonne, als hätte sie ihm Geheimnisse anvertraut, die sich unter meiner Haut festsetzen. Ich liege nicht mehr, ich sitze – irgendwie. Aufgerichtet, aber nicht ganz wach. Die Welt ist milchig, die Ränder weichgezeichnet, doch die Hitze schneidet scharf.
Im Hof gibt es Bewegung, aber keine Richtung. Menschen gehen, als seien sie auf Schienen, die sie nicht kennen. Ich bin unter ihnen – der Alleinsein-Profi, der sich in Gesellschaft unsichtbar macht. Ich sehe ihre Muster: einer dreht Runden wie ein alter Uhrzeiger, eine andere steht reglos, als wäre sie Teil eines Tests auf Standfestigkeit.
Ich bin nicht Teil dieser Szene, und doch bin ich das Zentrum. Niemand spricht mich an, aber ihre Blicke streifen mich wie Suchscheinwerfer. Vielleicht bin ich das Rätsel, das sie lösen wollen – oder der Fehler im System, der sich nicht richtig einfügt.
 Plötzlich eine Stimme. Nicht laut, eher wie ein Gedanke, der von außen kommt.
„Du bist oft hier“, sagt sie.
Ich drehe mich nicht sofort um. Ich lasse Worte auf mich prallen wie Sonnenstrahlen. Erst beim zweiten Satz sehe ich sie – die mit den Diagnoseblicken. Ihre Augen sind wie Scanner, ihre Haltung wie ein Urteil, das noch nicht gefällt wurde.
„Ist das der Ruheplatz oder das Wartezimmer?“, fragt sie.
„Kommt drauf an, worauf man wartet“, sage ich, ohne zu wissen, ob ich das meine.
„Und worauf wartest du?“
Ich zucke mit den Schultern. „Dass jemand anderes aufsteht. Damit ich weiß, dass es weitergeht.“
Sie nickt, als hätte sie diese Antwort geahnt. Dann setzt sie sich neben mich. Nicht nah, aber genau so, dass die Wärme zwischen uns sich wie ein Dialog anfühlt.
 Eine Ameise krabbelt über meinen Schuh. Ich spüre ihr Gewicht nicht, aber ich sehe ihre Richtung: geradeaus. Ich beneide sie ein wenig.
„B-Zelle, oder?“, sagt die Frau leise, fast vertraulich. „Ich kenne Leute, die das durchgemacht haben. Aber keiner hat es mir erklärt.“
Ich schaue sie an. Der Hof scheint kurz stillzustehen. „Vielleicht ist das hier die Erklärung“, murmle ich. „Die ganze Szenerie. Die Zwischenräume. Der Beton, der alles trägt.“
Wir sitzen dort noch eine Weile. Zwei Einzelgänger im Kollektiv.
Im Bad flimmert das Licht. Die Fliesen sind rauh, aber sie schauen mich an wie Zellkerne unter dem Mikroskop. Ich sprühe. Die Brause zischt leise. Wie damals, im Hof, beim Gießen. Aber jetzt ist es nicht Pflanze, sondern Ablagerung. Ich schrubbe. Die Bewegung geht ins Rückenmark über. Jeder Wisch fühlt sich an wie eine Zellteilung – mechanisch, aber voller Bedeutung.
Die Spinnenweben hängen wie Gedankenfetzen in den Ecken. Ich reiße sie runter, aber sie haften. Nicht nur am Besen. Auch an mir...)
