Music is in his blood. "Yeah my Dad was in a steelpan band, he traveled around and shit playing in different countries. Every sunday I'd wake up to random shit bumping downstairs. Could be Jim Reeves, could be Louis Armstrong… Or some random reggae shit I don't know the name of- but I know every word to the whole song" He says. "As for my Mum she loves the sound of a piano and was pushing keyboards and stuff in my face from young. Then she got a proper piano forte and I played the shit out of it and did competitions and concerts. I made the local public school boys look like absolute dick heads, I wiped their plum mouthed smiles off their faces… Then I found some music creation software for the PS1, and that changed everything"

He started producing music from the age of 12, slowly he began building a library of beats covering various genres. Freestyling was his entry to the lyrical side of music, he used to play about with childhood friend beat boxing and freestyling. After struggling for a short while with writing his lyrics down it finally clicked one day. Then he couldn't stop. Dabbling and trying out various music styles, over a period of 12 years he is now focusing on one particular genre… Hip Hop. "Man… I love Hip Hop… I eat, sleep and smoke that shit! Even though I refer to myself nowadays as a Hip Hop artist- Hip Hop is my wife, but I still be cheating on her with various other genres…!" After featuring on a few of Gimson's singles- Reality Check being the most memorable featuring Blak Twang, came the end of Kountry Kartel Records Rosko has now decided to embark on a solo career!

After showcasing his talents at various stages across the country, supporting acts such as Ghetts, Akala, Buggsy, Roni Size, Klashnekoff & Jehst to name a few- Rosko proves he is a performing artist.
