The Swiss-based Chateau Chépère crew brings a diverse EP from Ambient House maestra Rai Scott for their first installment. The five-tracker 'Anahata Nada' EP sees Edinburgh-based artist explore warm and lush House vibes centered around a party environment. From the gorgeous Ambient title track 'Anahata Nada' that can do magic in the chill-out rooms to more dance floor oriented 'Logical Positivism,' 'Track 4 Inspired' and 'Open Your Eyes,' the latter is signed under Rai's Serendipity alias. 
Our premiere for today, 'Track 4 Inspired', is a melancholic Hazy House journey. Driven by the classic Deep House groove, the track shows its beauty in lush pads exhaling in long, overlapping layers. Melancholic keys and atmospheric textures give the track a special moody touch, ideal for upcoming rooftop parties here in Brooklyn. 

'Anahata Nada' EP was released on March 7th via a new Lausanne-based vinyl-only imprint, Chateau Chépère.

PREMIERE: Rai Scott - Track 4 Inspired [Chateau Chépère]

Berlin's https://soundcloud.com/cocktail-damore and Tokyo's https://soundcloud.com/enetokyo have come together once again to present the music of Solidair. The duo of Cocktail alumni https://soundcloud.com/luigidivenere and https://soundcloud.com/j_e_e_p present three tracks aimed to induce a dance floor hypnosis. Orgonite (Riding the Waves) does just that, a slow build awash in the ebb and flow of acid tinges, just enough to wet your whistle on a Saturday night. The original mix keeps the skeletal support but throws in a life preserver of 8 bit gaming synthesis. Frisky arps call and respond to each other before making way for sinewy pads to lift off. Tiger's Eye sets itself onto cruising speed incorporating elements of late 90's acid techno with the sleek and smooth clubbing aesthetics of modern day Berlin.

Today we’re happy to premiere Tart Jam from New York based DJ and producer, Aspetuck, who’s no stranger to Delayed. Whether it be through his most recent album released on Oslated, all original mixes, ambient sets, or one of his recent self released bandcamp EPs, Griff aka Aspetuck is never far from our minds or speakers here in Brooklyn.

Like a musical kaleidoscope, turning and twisting, snapping melodies in and out of focus, Tart Jam seems to evolve and bring the listener on an acidic journey. Each minute ending with different moments than the prior, but all made cohesive by an underslung bass line giving that all important groove.

Tart Jam and the rest of the Mind Wandering EP will be out on December 15th, under Marco Malpeso’s Wex Records imprint and their Telomere Plastic sub-label.

“Life On Venus – Remixed & Reimagined” is the new multi-disciplinary project from London-based duo Awkward Moments, comprising of producer & electronic composer Mimi Xu and multi-instrumentalist & lead vocalist MAGUIRE.

The remix project sees the pair open up a dialogue about the fluidity of gender in an often polarised world. By inviting their male producer & DJ friends to remix the hyper-feminine queer love story ’Life On Venus’ – a track that celebrates both the transcendental and uniting powers of psychedelics in deepening connection – a wide range of musical responses have emerged, exposing the nuanced layers of masculinity that is often regarded in dangerously binary terms.

This series welcomes responses from the likes of –Trey Mirror, N-Gynn, Hans Berg & Frank Wiedemann – that will become part of a limited edition vinyl, set for a staggered waterfall release throughout the coming months with the first EP due for 21st April 2023. A second EP will follow with remixes by the likes of Ewan Pearson, Craig Richards, and Sasha in October 2023 to complete the collection.

Following that, Awkward Moments will respond to the remixes by turning the mirror back on itself and taking back control of the male gaze through a series of LIVE performances. By opening up a creative dialogue between the sexes new forms of connection emerge, forcing us to confront our own biases and perspectives surrounding the subject.

Midi Magic, DJ Normal 4, founding member and co-creator of ‘Aiwo rec.‘ was raised close to Düsseldorf in the Ruhr Area, former a strong and living industrial city conglomerate and now a bygone and dead epicenter of German heavy Industry with dusty factory skeletons and abandoned industrial complexes.

Rave fantasies and being surrounded by this reality of geometric shadows, harsh skylines and lost dreams gave birth to his sound - with one foot in the fields of the the glorious summer of ‘92′ and one in the ‘no future 4 ever‘ sounds emanating from Düsseldorf via Amsterdam to London, Lyon to The Hague today.

With high praised releases for respected Berlin label 'Klasse Wrecks' and stars of 2016, 'BrothersFromDifferentMothers' from Lyon, his sound has captured a geist that led to killer remixes on 'Dekmantel', 'Especial' and more.
