From the North East providing skewed blues to anyone who's listening.

Described by Spotlight Music UK as a band that “…sure know how to entice the senses with grown-up, grassroots alt-rock, befitting of a superhero blockbuster trailer".

Since the release of their debut EP False Sense of Security, the Gateshead band has built a reputation for their outstanding and unique music. 

Already a firm favourite in local circles, the band have gathered a lot of praise from various music press, both nationally and internationally, and it’s no surprise that they are becoming recognised for their signature sound, which they describe as ‘explosive’ with ‘thunderous’ rhythms. 

While people are enjoying their music far and wide online, Elephant Memoirs are also an experienced live band playing a number of shows across the UK. This has been coupled with regular national and international radio play including being handpicked by Tom Robinson for his BBC Radio 6 show. 

The band has made significant steps so far in 2021. With 3 well received singles already under their belts, they have seen streaming figures surpass that of all other previously released music. They continue to look to build on foundations they have and progress even further.

Hello again! Back in 2013 I set up a Soundcloud page (Secret Carl- go check it out) to share some of the music I made in obscurity between 1986 and 2006. This is the very belated sister site to that particular vanity project, and, like last time, it features an eclectic cross section of my home grown "pop" along with a few notes about each band/project. I'm still involved in music (always) and my current band Head Of Light Entertainment have been an unhealthy obsession of mine since 2008 (also for your listening pleasure on here).
