Threatened Skies - Part 1

In the not so distant future, hope for humanity lies dwindling as the spread of industry envelopes the Earth. The robot factories have now covered over 75% of the Earths surface, while the skies have shifted from a bright blue, to a dense layer of dark greys and reds.

Through the thick, burning air, one man stands alone against the threat to his home. His name is Carltron9000, and with him he brings a new light. A light in the form of the ultimate computer virus which systematically converts all PLC/ICS and hybrid robotic instruction into Famitracker chiptune code. Once the code is injected, the world will resonate as the very robots who seek to terminate our existence, one by one, begin to start arranging the chaotic musical code into organized works of stunning complexity, and to our biggest surprise, songs of such magnitude and beauty that most of the world still refuses to believe the robots are actually responsible.

Now, as the planets life runs dry, our only hope lies with CT9x to pen. the FAMIcore and find out for himself the true nature of this remarkable phenomenon. Are the robots slowly being converted one by one, by the power of chiptune, only to form an uprising against the oppressive industrial central AI? Deep within the metallic corridors of Robot City lies the underbelly of the AI core. Here, our fearless hero will search out the robot chipists and attempt to make first contact in the hopes of jamming out the sweetest chips; uniting all lifeforms through music and replenishing the once rich sky with the bluest of all blues and freshest of all human/machine fusion chip music!

Sorry for the long delay between uploads! I haven't been able to work on much music that I'm currently able to share. Other than this, and one Elancia track, I've not had much time for my own stuff. Hopefully you all enjoy this track from Return to Aloha though! Longtime fans will recognize it as the first medbay theme from the Capelspace/whatever i'm going to call it series of albums. There was a lot of things I wanted to try with this song since its original draft, and I'm pretty happy with the result! Capel spends more time dancing to the waiting room music than working during her night shifts because hardly anyone checks into medbay during those times.

Some boss battle and EDM vibes in here

I've been meaning to play around with Konami's VRC6 mapper some more (I haven't really done anything with it since Break Free 7 years ago) and I finally got around to that!

I kind of ran out of ideas during the chorus but I forced something out because I haven't made anything else quite like this in FamiTracker before

A mix and medley of some tracks featured in Paprium composed by myself and Jredd but not all and some unused musical Easter eggs thrown in for good measure. I’ve also thrown in various musical interludes and played around with some tracks, so they are not identical to those included in the game. I have added some samples here and there to mix things up too.
