This is an old favourite of ours that we used to sing out 26-27 years ago ... its still a lovely tune and Sally-Ann sings it just right ... I've not heard many people do this song at all. Took the Weissenborn out of the mix from the original upload because I thought it cluttered it a bit but the original is still up here if you want to compare. Here's Sally-Ann's first song writing effort ... Its her great grandfathers story about how he moved from Burton on Trent to Nuneaton where he worked as a wheelwright ... problem was there was no work so he started selling Moonshine out of his kitchen to the railway workers, he got busted and ended up having to licence his front room into a pub ... the Railway Tavern ... its still there today, still serving beer 100 years on ... anyway let her know what you think :)

I'm a singer songwriter (UK Songwriting Competition Semi Finalist 2015/2016/2017) and multi-instrumentalist from Warwickshire in the centre of the UK with a strong leaning towards Americana, folk and modern country. I sing simple songs about simple people living the harsher side of life.
