Captain Hook is one of the top DJs, musicians and producers on the Psychedelic Trance (Psytrance) & Progressive Trance scene. He’s the techno punk, the unboxable nomad: Berlin DJ, producer and label owner Alex Ridha, better known as BOYS NOIZE, made his DJ debut at the age of 15, taking a teenager´s love of house and techno to a global scale. Accolades have been bestowed by Rolling Stone, who named him one of the "Top 10 DJ's Who Rule The World" and Beatport, who elected him “Best Electronic Act” 3 years in a row. He´s rocked the world's biggest stages, lit up Coachella three times, took Lollapalooza by storm, and headlined festivals and clubs on every continent – from Berlin techno temple Berghain to Fuji Rock in Japan to Justin Vernon’s Eaux Claires Festival in the woods of Wisconsin.

As an artist and producer, Ridha has created a sound and a vision that’s peerless, uncompromising, and enduring – respected in the scene, banging from underground to mainstream, it flies in the face of convention at every turn. He’s remixed Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, David Lynch, Feist and Nine Inch Nails, collaborated with Snoop Dogg, Erol Alkan, and Jarvis Cocker, worked on Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Special” and on the soundtrack for upcoming Oliver Stone’s Snowden, and released group projects with genius pianist Chilly Gonzales (Octave Minds), Skrillex (Dog Blood), and Mr. Oizo (Handbraekes). The list of names alone speak volumes about Ridha’s multifaceted approach.

Ridha is also the heart of Boysnoize Records, the label that he started back in 2005. Founded originally in order to retain his full artistic freedom while releasing his own music under Boys Noize, The Berlin-based anarchist collective —and it’s sub-label, BNR Trax— became a home for multidirectional quality electronic music and is responsible for more than 150 releases incl. Strictly Raw (2015), Out Of The Black (2012), Power (2009), Oi Oi Oi (2007) and Octave Minds (2014).

Marc Carbone is the official name behind Dj Carbo. Carbo started his dj-career with the first parties in '99! A few small parties became quickly bigger 'underground' events mostly between 2002 and 2010! For years he had a beautiful residency at theZoo Club Hasselt and he played in most of Belgian clubs and neighbouring countries. After 2012 Carbo started traveling a lot and so he played on techno festivals in Australia and Burma while backpacking. After this beautiful travel experience he decided to move to Ghent and started a family. After some quiet years he decided to pick up the scene again. Since 2016 he had several smaller gigs and a residency in a hip place called 'Videos' Ghent. In 2019 Carbo started producing a lot again with also extra courses by professional and well-known Techno lover Steve Redhead. It didn't take long or Silhouet Records was born. A brand new label that stands for the deeper music better known as "Melodic House & Techno" !!

Carbo is a vibrant energetic DJ always knowing to please the crowd, to lead them on an adventure never knowing what record to expect next. He will take you on a journey from progressive floating sounds of melodic house to techno but also he can definately do the harder work of Acid, distorted basslines of the infamous TB303 and lot's of pumping kicks. He is also very skilled in promoting events, owner of concepts like Recoded Acid Area, Braincrash, Techno Area and Noah's Arc. With many headliners during the years. In group, Carbo together with DavidGneo, called Metacid they have a very respected label "Braincrashed Records" sold up to 3000 records of 12" vinyl. And in 2020 Carbo started solo the deeper sound in techno and melody under the name Silhouet Records. There are few artists who can claim to have shot to Drum & Bass fame as quickly, or as succinctly as Birmingham based DJ Hazard. In just a few short years this incredibly talented producer has knocked out enough dancefloor bombs to be considered a serious sonic terrorist, adding to the noise pollution problems of neighbourhoods around the world with his uncompromisingly tight beats and earth-quaking basslines.

Originally noticed by D&B legend DJ Hype while producing a few tracks for DJ SS’ Formation Records, Hazard was soon snapped up by the Playaz boss once he realised the young Birmingham based talent wasn’t under contract. There began a partnership that has rocketed DJ Hazard to the very top of his game, both in terms of producing immense dancefloor destroying tracks that eager DJs clamour to get their hands on during promo stage, and his own career as a DJ which has seen him travel the globe, doling out masses of bass-fuelled pain to unsuspecting ravers worldwide.

Soaking up the bass-heavy sounds of Ragga and Hip Hop like a musical sponge in his early youth, Hazard found he was drawn into the sub-low hitting basslines and the infectious cut up drums of early Jungle during the early ’90s and, like many youths at that time, began to collect those addictive slabs of black crack. Funding his love of buying and playing records by working in factories, washing up in restaurants and delivering pizzas, Hazard put everything he had into following a path that he loved and his hard work paid off.

Evidently his journey didn’t begin with the Playaz camp; throughout the ’90s Hazard built a reputation as a solid club DJ in the local Birmingham scene, while he built on that success with his regular radio show on Kool FM Midlands alongside MCs Biggie and Accapello. From there the production bug was the obvious logical move, and soon Hazard was churning out tracks that would get his style noticed by hordes of the top D&B dogs. As word about this fresh talent grew, Hazard continued to work his way up the Drum & Bass ladder with determination and belief in his own abilities, and with such determination on display it’s no wonder that DJ Hype picked him up as the first non Ganja Kru member to be signed exclusively to the camp.

From there on a string of releases made Hazard’s name one that even your average D&B fan’s mum could recognise. Tracks such as ‘Use Your Brain’ and ‘Get The Fuck Up’ cemented Hazard as a favourite in many aspiring DJs’ boxes, and almost overnight he became one of the most popular Jump Up producers in the game.

Of course it’s obvious to anyone that hard work and dedication are Hazard’s watchwords, as you can tell from his journey to the top, but now that he’s there, he’s not resting on his laurels either. More recently his incredible anthems ‘Busted’, ’0121′ and ‘Mr Happy’ all topped the Drum & Bass charts, receiving support from just about everyone who’s anyone in the scene. The incredible power of Hazard’s production and the insane levels he’s prepared to take it to became even more clear as he dropped the awesome brutality of the ‘Machete Bass’ EP, a release that has secured his place in the top echelons of Drum & Bass producers, a place that will leave his mark on this music for many years to come.

With talk of a DJ Hazard mix CD on the newly formed Playaz imprint and the possibility of an artist album in the works, as well as his increasingly hectic DJ schedule and his relentless dedication to his art, it seems that all this could just be the beginning for DJ Hazard.

Nicola Capobianco, a Swiss born producer and DJ who is better known for his project called LIQUID SOUL.
Falling in love with electronic music from a very young age, he almost immediately took an interest in DJ’ing back in 1993, this is the very year where his journey into the world of music officially begun. It became clear that his new found passion wasn’t just a passing phase and would last as he made the decision to venture deeper into music. This quickly saw him find his way around the studio as this was the next phase of his progression. He started crafting himself a unique sound signature. This hugely assisted his career and has helped sustain his constant heavy flow of bookings all over the world, ranging from clubs to festivals and big raves.
Shortly after 2001 Nicola discovered the psychedelic side of trance music. He felt the urge to again explore new avenues within himself. This reinvention process gave birth to his current and popular project, LIQUID SOUL. He played a vital role and was one of the pioneers in shaping the Psychedelic Progressive Trance landscape to where it has grown today. LIQUID SOUL became a worldwide sensation for his productions and his distinctive sound signature. A sound that can be best described as masterfully capturing emotion through the perfect use of uplifting melodies which manages to intelligently fuse into Psychedelic Trance. These unique qualities have simply set LIQUID SOUL apart from the pack, making him one of the most requested artists in the business today.
