This is one of my first forays into what I might call "hybrid" recording, playing all the Guitars & Bass, then a few synth notes. I then meticulously programmed everything else with only a mouse. It was a lot of fun, especially the "Sax Solo".

Where Were You?

I started writing this before the Pandemic started. The music came together fairly quickly, but the lyrics....The opening verses were recorded over a year ago & then I got stuck. I finally put in some serious time to finish all the lyrics & new vocals. The song is about writer's block & being away from live performing. Like all my recordings, it's all self-produced. I'm really glad I finished it.

This is my 1st Vocal Song release in over a year! I worked very hard on this track. It has a subject matter that is very important to me.
As usual, all Instruments, Vocals & Drum programming by me.

Why are we fighting over mythical gods? All on the same road, Fighting against the odds. Have we learned nothing in thousands of years? open our eyes. All that's behind us, there to remind us. Lost in the Ocean of Tears.
By King's decree, we were no longer free to live life as we saw. Ancient fairytales turned into law. Children born of innocence, dying for an age old lie. History repeats itself, They just cover their eyes.
