I recorded this song with Jerald Sarmiento in 2020.
I kept listening to this song on SoundCloud.
This song I tried to re-produce more in the folk genre.
I re-recorded acoustic guitar and added some bass and percussion.
I slightly reduced Jerald's voice, those annoying DE eaters and other noises.
The song has now got a new color.

I sent the finished folk song and 12 stems to MTM Mastering True Music Production for checking and sound improvement, which worked very well. A very nice team from Spain. Guitars and voice have now got the sound I had imagined. For me it was very worthwhile to pass this mix and mastering on to an external company. When composing and recording, mixing and mastering, your ear becomes fixed in your DAW (brain). You often don't find your sounds that good. That's why I use an external mix and mastering studio to check. I really had a very positive experience with MTM. With young ears and with professional training that completed my work.

5. Life Is Dumb Sometimes

Hello friends,

wow, it's been almost 40 years that I've been making music. 
I taught myself how to play the drums and the music of the 80s had a lasting influence on me. I played everything I loved musically. At the age of 15 I founded my first school band and at 16 I started a cover band. After that I played in different cover bands until I came to the band "Dementi". With Dementi I didn't have commercial success but at least a record deal. We produced several EPs and two albums with my participation as drummer. 

After my departure from Germany at the end of the 2000s, my work with "Dementi" came to an end and I dedicated myself to my personal development and studied "Digital Creative Media" in Ireland and Austria, i.e. sound engineering, video production and computer science.

Since the 2010s I have been working on my own projects and producing music and videos for other artists.
