MAKOSSA & MEGABLAST, comprised of Marcus Wagner-Lapierre (Makossa) and Sascha Weisz (Megablast), are an Austrian DJ and producer duo known for their unique fusion of house, techno, funk, and African rhythms. Since the early 2000s, they have been shaping the electronic music scene with their distinctive sound. Their debut album, "Kunuaka" (2007), released on Kruder & Dorfmeister’s G-Stone label, brought them international acclaim, blending Afro-Latin beats, trippy analog synths, forceful basslines, and exotic vocals. The album received global support from luminaries like Carl Craig and Gilles Peterson. In 2010, their Ibiza anthem "Soy Como Soy" was released, followed by their second album of the same title in 2011, further showcasing their musical versatility. MAKOSSA & MEGABLAST stand for musical diversity and cultural innovation in electronic music, with a sound that spans Afro/Ethno, House, Techno, Dub, Disco, Broken Beats, and Hip Hop, all enriched with a distinctive analog feel.

Arman began his career as a DJ in 1989 in his native city - Vienna, Austria. Volksgarten, a frequent hot-spot for the party people of Vienna!
Since 1999 he is producing music under the name of Crossfire and since 2002
under his own name.
He lived in Miami for 12 years, where he established his record label. In 2011 he moved to Switzerland.
