Some people spend a lifetime figuring out why they are put on this earth.  Many are lost and confused about what they are doing here.  Sadness, fear, and feelings of being alone take over the hearts of many.  For those of us that have faith in our hearts, we need not feel afraid or alone.   There is one who exists who will not forsake you, leave you behind, or reject you if you truly seek to know and love him.  The One who exists is the Lord God.   I have written this album to show how much God is and will be a part of my life and the lives of all who have faith in Him.

Arabesque No. 1. Andantino con moto is the first of the "Two Arabesques"  (Deux arabesques) composed by Debussy when he was still in his twenties.

Erik Satié was one of the most accomplished French Impressionistic pianists and composers that ever existed. His timeless music simply challenges classification. His premiere Gymnopédie (previously the 3rd in the series) is among his most famous. The melody is so strangely familiar, like it was written in from a dream. Vibraphone definitely helps bring out the intense, yet unintentional emotion of Erik's composition. Written for 4-mallets. Available for 3-octave vibraphone.

Capriccio ( di natura danzante)

Tra i rami secchi canta l'allodola,
il vento veste i sassi come fiori.
Foglie in fermento baciano la terra,
cresce la danza dove nasce il sole.

L’acqua si insinua sotto le radici,
un canto di cicale incendia l’uliveto.
Tre fichi aperti stillano silenzio,
le mani si invischiano del latte acerbo.

Il fico spacca al sole la sua bocca,
un’ape tace in gola all’origano.
L’ombra si piega al ritmo della pietra,
un piede nudo scivola in tempo.

La notte è un’anfora sepolta viva.
Le mani, vuote, accolgono la sorgiva,
il vento scuce l’abito alla luce.

Nessuna voce: danza la preghiera,
il nome è sabbia, l’arco è senza freccia.
Nel giro cieco cade la visione.
