Welcome Hohme Radio 137 // b2b Enamour @ SET 10YR, Part 1

No one knows where Rïa is really from. Currently based in NYC, her multicultural roots come from growing up in Sri Lanka, London, Dubai & India.

When curating a set, Rïa's focus is always on her audience: she loves making them dance, taking them on a journey fused with eclectic sounds that hint at her diverse upbringing - resulting in sets that range from melodic techno to ethnic deep house. Ultimately, her vision is to bring that same multifaceted groove to her music productions, and to interloop different musical boundaries with emotion.

Some words from Ria: A new year begins, and with that so does this mix of melodic house infused with some dance tracks. It includes my remix of Jordan Arts "Not Alone" that just released on House Music With Love last month, and a few new IDs! I hope you'll enjoy the mix as much as I did making it.

I recently had the pleasure, honor, and opportunity to play a one hour set at March's installment of LOST at Monkey Loft, one of the dopest house music monthlies that Seattle has to offer. Playing the 11-12 slot, I was able to take the crowd on a bit of a journey. They all seemed to dig it, which has me pretty hyped! LOST | 03.15.19 | Monkey Loft | Seattle, WA

With short notice, I was asked to fill in for someone for Seattle-based Studio 4/4's weekly event, Habitat. The event is all about deep, melodic, and minimal vibes, which is not my usual style. However, I was feeling up for the challenge, as well as inspired and quite emotional off a big weekend (Above and Beyond's Group Therapy Weekender, including a proper Sunday afternoon filled with deep house, sun, and great people). Hopefully that is felt in the way that this mix takes shape. It's intended to be slower and more introspective. Hopefully it's as healthy for your soul as it was for mine as I played through it!

Over the last year, Simone BG has made some serious waves in the Seattle music scene. Drawn to the deeper side of house and techno, Simone is known for her dark, moody energy woven seamlessly with haunting, ethereal melodies. Her style is evocative and captivating, highlighting the intricate elements of her selections. She joined the Studio 4/4 family in 2021 as one of their newest residents and has played for many local events including Habitat, Flammable, LOST, Uniting Souls, Shameless, Noise Complaint, and Depth. 

Simone has also had the pleasure of supporting many international headliners, including Green Velvet, Sultan & Shepard, Andrew Bayer, Friend Within, Nala, Denney, Lubelski, Pleasurekraft, Juliet Fox, Guy Mantzur, and Jeremy Olander. She also opened Insomniac's first Day Trip music festival in Seattle in 2022, featuring Tony H, Anabel Englund, Anna Lunoe, James Hype, Lee Foss, Purple Disco Machine, Duke Dumont, and Kaytranada,

Born and raised on Capitol Hill, Simone’s love for Seattle is matched only by her love of dance music, and she is dedicated to bringing the two together in new and exciting ways.
