In 2007 he started with live preforms as RafX.
From the beginning he presented a raw, minimalistic Techno sound, which became popular in the years 2008-2016 in the  Polish underground scene.
He performed as Raf Mickiewicz in all important cities for Techno culture in Poland.
He lived and performed primarily in Poznań - the Polish capital of Techno. 
After two decades of playing as a DJ, he developed his unique way of working with music, vibe and atmosphere. No SYNC. Only Start/Stop and EQ.
He was the creator of underground projects which did not see the public light and remain in the memory of many Techno music fans in Poland.
From the beginning he cooperated with many musicians and producers, creating remixes and mastering for them.
Since 2012 he has been living and creating music in northern Germany.
In 2014 he opened the Distorted Recordings and publishes and performs as Sonic Machinist.
Since the beginning of 2026 he has returned to stage performances.

Brixia is following
