International Anthem is a Chicago-born recording company that produces and promotes progressive media.

Founded by curators from the Uncanned Music family, the IARC label was established to be a productive and distributive outlet for the group’s original music programming.

The mission of International Anthem is to make positive contributions to the changing state of the music industry, and to vitalize the demand for boundary-defying music by presenting unique sounds in appealing packages to untapped audiences.

Alfredo Giammanco
compositore e performer di musica elettroacustica.

Musicista di origini palermitane classe 1978, studia privatamente pianoforte, successivamente frequenta composizione, musica jazz e musica elettronica al Conservatorio di musica Antonio Scontrino di Trapani. Tra i suoi insegnanti: Paolo Mangoni, Vincenzo Palermo, Luigi Grassadonia, Giancarlo Bini, Luca Macchi, Salvatore Bonafede, Marco Gasperini. Già orchestrale per l'Orchestra della Nazionale Cantanti, (Enrico Ruggeri, Luca Barbarossa, Marco Masini, Paolo Vallesi), ha collaborato anche con diversi musicisti come: Marco Bortesi(bassista con Mietta, CCCP), Paolo Torelli (chitarrista con Paolo Belli), Roby Berti(batterista Vasco Rossi, Elisa), Valentina Ducreux (corista in RAI), Ricky Portera (chitarrista di Lucio Dalla), Floriano Bocchino, etc. Dopo vari lavori all’interno ed esterno degli studi di registrazione, entra a far parte de iMusicanti nel febbraio del 2010 con l’inizio della produzione degli album “ARSURA”, prodotto da CNI e "Genti" edito dall'etichetta EmWEm nei quali oltre ad essere autore e compositore cura gli arrangiamenti.

Attualmente si esibisce in live electronics con linguaggi contemporanei orientati verso i soundscape, strutturalismo e arte sonora con catene di sintesi elettroacustiche ibride tra comportamenti analogici e digitali.

In a new era of genre-bending music, Makaya McCraven pushes the boundaries of sound and rhythm to create categories of his own. Called “a sound visionary” who is “not your everyday jazz drummer”, McCraven is a beat scientist. Whether behind the drums or in the lab, mixmaster Makaya McCraven moves between genres at lightning speed.

I studied at the music school of "The Brass Group" Association in Palermo, where I started to become interested on jazz music in its most unusual forms. Interactions between styles led me to take courses in electronic music at the Conservatory "Vincenzo Bellini" in Palermo.
For two years in a row, I earned the scholarships at summer workshops organized in Sant'Anna Arresi (Sardinia) by Punta Giara, experience that permitted me to make a record and to play in the city of Chicago with Guitto Gargle.
In the years, I was able to confront myself with Thollem McDonas, Frank Gratkowski, Barre Philips, Tim Hodgkinson, Gunther Sommer and many other musicians of the jazz and improvisation scene, also thanks to the collaboration with Curva minore.
Actually, I'm playing with:
FORSQUEAK (math-jazz-rock), La Banda di Palermo (folk-punk), SSSS duo (experimental-ambient), JuJu (psych rock) and Hysterical Sublime (pop).
