Music producer and collector Billy Caso has spent the last 13 years in Berlin building his path as an eclectic and open-genre artist through fields of electronica, psychedelic jazz, hip hop, modular synths and collage style mixes & beat-tapes.

Billy founded Pastiche, what started as a listening event in Berlin, and now turned hi-fi listening venue, record shop and café in Berlin. 

Billy has performed live tours worldwide, hosted various shows on NTS Radio, Worldwide FM, Dublab and Rinse FM. Also known for his two cult-followed mix series 'The Barefoot Adventures' and 'Home Comforts'. Through his explorative blend of genre-mashing productions, mind-bending collage-style sets, beat-tapes and musical features with the likes of Miguel Atwood Ferguson, Brandon Coleman, Fly Anakin and Nailah Hunter to name a few. After a four year wait, Billy's long awaited debut album ‘Planet Earth’ is complete and will be released soon.

Sharing with the audience what I think are the greatest records of the moment or what I think are timeless and personal classics is something that has motivated me through the years. I see my job as being a big filter: As a vinyl junkie, I am in the record stores chasing jams almost everyday. And I am also following movements in what I hear such as when techno was revolutionary or when the NY deep house sound really expanded, that’s what I would showcase. Now that a lot of techno and house roots are being revived and also reinvented, I can as always, enjoy playing a lot of new amazing records and some classics!

Twenty years in, from house to techno and everything in between, DJ Deep has immersed himself in the ebb and flows of music, be it NY, Chicago, Detroit or today’s current pulsating waves. He captures the magic of each as a leading figure of the Parisian scene and label owner, connecting the dots both forward and back with his own personal and multidimensional touch.

DJ Deep first got his break when he was invited by Laurent Garnier to DJ at parties such as Oz and Zoo at club Palace, or Boy, in his hometown Paris. Followed by regular appearances at the influential Rex Club, radio shows ‘A Deep Groove’ on then pirate station Radio FG, and later Radio Nova, plus a string of mix CDs on Distance and Respect is Burning, DJ Deep began touring worldwide, spreading his house and techno obsession to audiences craving his deep crates of musical truth.

In 2003, DJ Deep launched his labels Deeply Rooted (formerly Deeply Rooted House) and House Music Records, shining a spotlight on true-to-its roots house and techno records and harder to find gems from the likes of Kerri Chandler, L.B. Bad, Terence Fixmer, Mike Dehnert and Roman Poncet. The dream catalogue sealed his music curatorship with timeless records such as Kerri Chandler’s now classic “Back to the Raw”, Ben Klock’s remix of “Pong” by Kerri Chandler and Francois X’s “Code Red” remixed by Marcel Dettmann.

A reformat in 2015 and DJ Deep’s latest evolution in expression sees him join forces with Roman Poncet as Sergie Rezza, an open-minded experimentation with a standout album on Desire Records and performances including Berlin Atonal. Their straight-up techno live project, Adventice, saw a trio of releases on the reputable Tresor with performances at Weather Festival (Paris), Reperkusound Festival (Lyon) and many more to come. Fang is the duo’s house-leaning alias, which marked Deeply Rooted’s momentous 50th release in 2015. Unabatedly, DJ Deep’s solo adventure also continues with his own deep “cuts” out on his label or under his Rébeval raw house alias, on the cult NYC L.I.E.S Records.

Dem Pangea Kollektiv geht es in erster Linie darum, Feierkultur mit utopischem Inhalten und kritischem Bewusstsein zu verknüpfen. Diese Verbindung aus Politik und Hedonismus spiegelt sich im eklektischen und sich stets weiterentwickelnden Soundbild der zwei Mädels & drei Jungs wider, welches am besten als Kaleidoskop verschiedenster Kulturen, Rhythmen und Perspektiven zu begreifen ist. Die sich immer wieder wandelnden Muster bestehen aus einem Zusammenspiel von Tradition&Elektronik, Analogie&Moderne, Roots&Future. Erlaubt ist bei Pangea prinzipiell erstmal alles, was nicht ausgrenzend und scheiße ist - von traditionellen globalen Sounds und verschrobenen Beatschleifen, über wild scheppernde, ungerade Basslines bis hin zu atmosphärisch-dichten 4/4-Ethno-Soundscapes und sogar housigem Disco Globale ist gut und gerne alles dabei, was das Feierherz höherschlagen lässt.

For almost two decades now, in Paris then Berlin and now Barcelona, La Fraicheur has been making a name for herself with her signature sound of powerful, diverse and emotionally charged Techno(es) sets 

Running parties in Berlin's renowned clubs Wilde Renate & Mensch Meier, resident at Berlin’s Gegen as well as a regular DJ for the city’s queer scene staple parties Buttons, Pornceptual and House of Red Doors, member of Female:Pressure, the queer feminist activist is a marathon DJ who can go on for countless hours.
In the last years, she extended her craft by producing her own music ranging from Techno to Electronica. She wrote her critically acclaimed and politically charged debut album during an artist residency at the Underground Resistance studios in Detroit, her project selected by the Berlin-Detroit Connection, founded by Mike Banks (UR) and Dimitri Hegemann (Tresor). She was invited that same year by Roland to launch the TR-8S alongside Steffi, Virginia and Catnapp. Her most recent EP “Tabula Rasa” was released on prominent UK label Lobster Theremin in 2021.
Alongside her solo career, La Fraicheur created a duo with Leonard de Leonard centered on a Techno Live Act mixing modular synths and digital gear for a club-ready performance. She also composed the soundtrack for M.A.D, a contemporary dance piece by French choreographer R14-Julien Grosvalet which she also performs live.
Turning her merch into an intersectional feminist fundraiser, she raised over 6600€ donated to NGOs supporting women, migrant, trans people, queer homeless youth, victims domestic violence and sex workers in France, Spain, Palestine, Mexico, the USA and the UK.
In 2022, she launches her House of (S)PUNK, @houseofspunk a transfeminist record label focusing on the young queer, trans, cyborg and women electronic artists of the new pandemic-born rave scene of Barcelona.
She tours internationally including at festivals like Burning Man (USA), Fusion (DE), Garbicz (PL), Dour (BE) or Transmusicales (FR) and at famed clubs such as Tresor, About Blank, KitKat Club, Griessmühle, Revier SüdOst, Kater Holzig, Alte Münze, Rex Club, Peripate or Razzmatazz to
name a few.
