A proud Voting Member of the Latin Recording Academy (Latin GRAMMYs®) and the Recording Academy (GRAMMYs, USA®), belonging to the Songwriters & Composers Wing (S&C Wing), he was a featured artist on La Voz México, where he joined the team of pop star Belinda. That season of the show was nominated at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, marking a milestone in his artistic exposure.

Since 2008, Ángel has built an international career across Venezuela, Mexico, and France, performing at festivals such as La Fête de la Musique, Semana de las Juventudes, Festival Quimera Metepec, and Sofar Sounds, as well as major showcases like the LaLiga EA SPORTS™ Acoustic Sessions.

Bad Gorilla is the name of this crazy concept led by Jose Mesa, who has a very confused  Mediterranean and Latin blood in terms of music taste. Bad Gorilla is a collective team that invite people from abroad to collaborate in music pieces with world music influences, focus in the predominance of Latin and African rhythms. 

The first album of this project is called (Cumbias Macabras), based in the traditional South American rhythm CUMBIA.  this album still in progress and will release the pieces individually or in other words, by Singles.
