Muzik Hertz was formed at the end of 2006 by @djescapeuk after being flooded with demos from around the world. Out of the all demos only one stood out. That being dj Complex who hails from Essex. Soon to follow was Dj Rusty who hails from Brazil, Cabbie, Pleasure, Pa and Origin

First release is Decisions / zero by Dj Complex which received major play from Nicky Black-market, Hazard, Kenny Ken, Cabbie to name a few. Up next came Bounty Hunter / Mustang Fast Back from Dj Pleasure / Dj Rusty. Releases soon followed from Nw2 (Cabbie & Origin), Steppa & Kitcha, Tyke, Recluse as well as label boss Escape.

As well a being a record label, Muzik Hertz has also saw a number of events over the years and has become one of the fastest growing drum & bass brands in Birmingham. With events held at Oc's, The Q Club and Custard Factory in Birmingham plus a range of tours across the Uk and Abroad, Muzik Hertz has definitely gone from from strengh to strenght and is continuing to grow.  

Muzik Hertz has gained a lot of support from a number of A list artist and received a huge amount of radio support in the Uk and abroad. New artists in the shape of Boosta & Atmos T, 2stars & Shield, 2N etc have joined the label and have been responsible for some of the biggest releases to date! It’s now a case of watch this space………….

Existence has been producing on Reason 4 music software for 14 years and produced on FL Studio 12 music software for 6 years and also a rapper / emcee / freestyle emcee for 21 years.

Existence is The Terminator Drum & Bass Producer and a Noisia Neurofunk Drum & Bass Producer, and an Electronic Drum & Bass Producer.

Existence will be updating his Soundcloud page soon and update to Soundcloud Next Pro and have Drum & Bass productions finished and professionally laid out for completed Instrumentals.

Existence almost got signed to Reformed Recordings 4 years ago from the manager & owner of Reformed Recordings Existence signed the contract and sent it back with terms and conditions but due to complications the contract didn't go through the label shortly afterwards stopped running but hopefully in the future the label will be back running so I can get my chance to have an opportunity again in the future or find another label in the future to give me an opportunity at some point.

In the Future Existence would like to be signed to Milan Records for his Terminator Drum & Bass Edition Productions and also Vision.

Existence is making a Neurofunk Drum & Bass Album Called " The Outer Limits"

Existence is known in the Music Industry an up and coming Drum & Bass artist and known as The Terminator Film Edition Drum & Bass Producer and Terminator Drum & Bass Editions and connected and after the Album "The Outer Limits" is completed then Existence is contacting Drum & Bass Radio and Drum & Bass Networks and get some airtime on Radio Stations and Dj's to play Existence's Album as well as other Existence productions.

Escape has been actively involved in music since the early days of the British underground music scene and can trace his influences right back to the summer of love days around 1988. Inspired by his older brothers and early cassette tapes of Mickey Finn and Top Bizz. He began experimenting with the hip hop, techno and acid house tunes that defined the era. The explosion of hardcore and the early UK rave scene coincided with Escape starting secondary school and he took it upon himself to convert his group of friends at the time with highly sought-after tapes from early pirate stations and legendary live events. On one of his increasingly frequent visits to Pure records, he was dubbed ‘Younga Zone’ by MC Lenni as a nod to his big brother T-Zone who worked behind the counter. This name stuck with him throughout his early DJing days - although at this stage most of his mixing was restricted to after school sessions with his mates rather than major raves or club nights. Things began to change when, escape crossed paths with another artist who would go on to make huge waves in the Midlands scene, DJ Hazard. At this stage, both were young, broke DJs, hungry for success and doing everything they possibly could to make a name for themselves. Bookings were snapped up regardless of size or setup and they were soon playing to crowds of between 5 and 100 people every week – often for little more than the love of the tunes and a taxi fare home. Before long, Escape was to join Hazard on his weekly radio show on Unity FM. Although the show was well received and opened plenty of doors for the duo, it was difficult being the only drum & bass DJs on an otherwise ragga dominated station and this led to Escape looking for other pirates where his musical policy and jungle selection would be more readily accepted. 
With Kool FM Midlands rapidly establishing itself as the leading jungle pirate in the area and rivalling its London counterpart in terms of the exposure it could provide to up and coming DJs it was clear to Escape that this was where he needed to be. Dogged persistence and a refusal to take no for an answer led to a very large phone bill and no less than five separate demos being sent to Kool. Eventually his perseverance paid off with the reward of a Saturday morning slot that a lot of local DJs would have given their right arm for.  Although up to this point, he was still going by the name of Younga Zone, the decision to rebrand himself Dj Escape was made after careful consideration and some sound advice from Joker Records’ Pugwash. As he established himself on Kool FM through hard work, innovative selection and a rapidly expanding following he moved up through the rankings to the prime time 8-10 Sunday evening slot with MC Biggie. Unfortunately, as with so many pirate stations, things came to an abrupt end for Kool in 2002, causing Escape to make the move to Silk FM.

It wasn’t just behind the decks that Escape was making for a name for himself. Getting involved with event promotion in and around the Birmingham area led to more exposure and bookings began to come in thick and fast from around the UK and overseas. He has since supported the success of events stretching from all over the to America.

Escape initially dabbled in the field of label management when he set up 2nd Strike Records and, although the label only had one release (DJ Hazard You Ready/Metallic Blue) due to distribution problems, experience was gained, lessons were learned and Escape set up a brand-new label called Muzik Hertz. The label gave breaks to artists such as Complex, Dj Rusty and P.A. and this wealth of experience has been instrumental in Escape’s journey into production. Influences from this epic 25-year voyage into jungle drum and bass are echoed throughout of every track, with each one paying homage to the sound.

Belfast-born Dominick Martin has spent the last 30 years simply creating. He’s done so with a sort of restrained melancholy that’s broad enough to encompass a myriad of tempos and genres. Whether you experience him taking over a room for the full 6+ hour trip, or he plays a shorter higher impact role on a bigger bill, his singular signature persists: a soulfully honest sense of the transcendental and a unique perspective and approach.
