Simon Møller Jensen, born 1993, is a danish classical pianist. He lives in Copenhagen,
but travels to pursue his musical visions, alone and with his peers. Simon Møller Jensen comes from a musical family where piano playing was an integrated part of daily life. His talent quickly became obvious. At the age of 13 Anne Øland (professor at the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus) took Simon Møller Jensen under her wings and assisted him in taking prizes in local competitions. Simon Møller Jensen started his studies at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2012 with the highest grade. He was classified as a great talent with a unique and seductive style reflecting his unconditional love for music. Simon Møller Jensen has then studied with Maestro Vladimir Shakin (Saint Petersburg State Conservatory), infamous speed pianist Igor Roma (Maastricht Conservatorium) and now with Wolfram Schmitt Leonardy at Staatliche Hochschule in Mannheim, Germany. Simon Møller Jensen won the 1st prize at the Maastricht Music Awards 2019, 3rd prize at the Vocalis Festival, Vaals, 4th prize MWM, Druskininkai, Lithuania and has played with orchestras in Denmark and Italy. He has also attended inspirational and motivating lessons from Davide Cabassi in Milan, Michel Dalberto in Paris. Simon Møller Jensen has played solo performances and concerts in Tivolis Koncertsal, Tivolis Glassal, Konservatoriets Koncertsal, ODEON, Aarhus Musikhus, Esbjerg Musikhus, Bjergstad Koncertsal, Wilhelm Hijstek Hall, and some other halls around Europe.
