Two friends doing what they do best - and paying homage to one of dance music’s most iconic anthems in the process. The tag team of Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten has provided many memorable moments in 2012 thus far, with notable back to back sets in Birmingham, Buenos Aires and Las Vegas to name a few, and each occasion highlights their resurrection of Loops & Tings. 

Originally released by Jens in 1993, Loops & Tings exemplified dance music’s explosion throughout Europe in the early part of that decade. The theme became even more familiar to listeners worldwide when Marco V applied his touch ten years after the original, yielding Loops & Tings relooped. Now with Markus Schulz on the verge of releasing his fourth artist album, Scream, he and Ferry Corsten conceive a fitting tribute for 2012 dancefloors. 

Debuted during Ferry’s landmark 8 hour Corsten’s Countdown episode 250 broadcast from New York City, Loops & Tings has become an instant request in both DJs’ sets. From the Electric Daisy Carnivals in Las Vegas and New York to the Godskitchen Boombox in Buenos Aires, and from Markus and Ferry’s respective Ibiza residencies at Privilege and Eden, their recreation allows the new wave of clubbers to enjoy that instantly recognisable melody, transcended from their previous generation. 

The next chapter of Loops & Tings is here, and it is a welcome tribute.

Hardwell teamed up with Dutch shooting star Dannic to bring us this summerish remix of UK superstar Example's new single 'Say Nothing'. The original track was produced by Dirty South and combined with Example's amazing songwriting/vocals this will be a sure hit record. Already entered the Cool Cuts Chart this week at #1

The legend of Delerium lives on in the sounds of Conjure One. Producer Rhys Fulber and singer Leigh Nash bring a new cross-over of ambient and electronic bliss. ‘Under The Gun’ is the perfect blend of emotions, classic quality and strong vocals. 

Rhys Fulber, former member of Front Line Assembly and the legendary crossover act Delerium still hasn’t lost his flow. 3 years after he’s released the Conjure One album ‘Exilarch’, he returns with a new jewel. Together with American singer-songwriter Leigh Nash, the voice behind Delerium hits ‘Innocente’, ‘Run For It’ and lead singer of Sixpence None the Richer, he blows us away with ‘Under The Gun’. That same mystic feel takes over, carrying a deep and detailed sound. Fusing ambient, pop and electronic, it’s a true sensation to the ears.

For those in need of a more club-f riendly version, there’s the banging remix of Dutch duo Rank 1. Responsible for quite a few classics themselves, Benno de Goeij and Piet Bervoets provide an energetic, spicy remix that lures us all in.
