Darkpload Deep proudly presents 'Thoughts Became Things' by Andromedha. After his first huge release one the deep imprint, he comes with something tottaly new. The original track, produced in a dark progressive style, is based on strong basslines, mechanical percussion and deep pads. As always to make the single more universal there are three other interpretations alongside the original. And the first one created by Polish duo Darkployers, Darkpload Records founders, impresses with its dense groove, creepy atmoshperic pads and a calm breakdown with sweet melody. Classic progressive remix is the work of the mighty American producer Jeremy Rowlett. This track with oriental motive is full of the percussion and beautiful synths. Last one is by well known Tuxedo which showcases his deep house vision of 'Thoughts Became Things' release. Powerful, rhythmic groove with hypnotic vocals, lush pads and absolutely stunning atmosphere.

Hello again, for the final time this year.

Presenting the first of two holiday treats for you (the second will be the GDJB Classic Showcase on Thursday) - a special three hour journey for Afterhours.fm's End of Year Countdown celebrations.

Having a three hour timeframe allowed me the opportunity to really express the journey aspect of a set, being able to build things up slowly from the beginning. After about a month of digging, finding, compiling and editing, I managed to get the set completed just this weekend.

It is a mix I hope that you will enjoy and appreciate for some time to come, and for those of you not attending a gig on New Year's Eve, it can maybe be your audio of choice to welcome 2014.

Behind the name Simon Templar hides a DJ/Producer Jussi Paasonen,also known from Finnish duo Winkee. Simon Templar aims to bring beautiful, deep, melancholic and progressive trance elements to his music.

Jussi started his journey in the world of electronic music in the end of 1980’s enjoying the electronic music genres from side to side. In the mid 90’s Jussi started dj:ing and hosting electronic club events and parties. Jussi began to produce his own music by name Simon Templar in the year 2000 and Winkee was founded together with a good friend Sami Törrönen in 2003. A great love for electronic music gave birth also a live line-up Infinity which performed in Finnish club events in the years 2000-2004. 

Simon Templar published his first track, Winkee – Whisper (Simon Templar remix), in Unity Records in the year 2004. Same nostalgic track was updated to Refresh mix for Solarstone’s and Dj Orkidea’s  Pure Trance-compilation album in 2012.

Simon Templar - Meltwater (Part1&2) was selected Tune of the Year 2013 by Solarstone in DjMag.

2014 Simon Templar - To The Stars was nominated Solarstone´s Top10´s of Most Important Trance Tracks of All Time' on DJ Mag.
