Pitstop Jazz Jam - Blue Bossa - 4/21/25

This is an original piece. All performed on my Casio keyboard. Effects added in the mix. This track is unique in that I am not using midi recording techniques. There is therefore no midi quantization going on here.

Update: this new version has midi drums via plugin instead of casio drums recorded via my audio interface.

4/25/25 - Techno in D minor

I put this track together with a soundscape loop and delayed snare drum pattern I found on LoopCloud. I then added the the kick drum via midi sequencing, a synth bass line, and synth strings. It was a fun little project on my way to learning more about the possibilities of my DAW. I hope you like it. It definitely chills me out.

4/28/25 Chill Track

This track started out with a sample of a saxophone melody. It is intended as a study. I first listened to the line, using solfege, to identify all the intervals. I then identified common jazz chords changes that would work under the melody. Finally, I went ahead and recorded my take of the sax line on guitar with accompaniment.

Hi. Welcome to my page.

I function primarily as a sideman on electric or double bass. I generally do not sing backup or lead. I am comfortable performing in many styles of music with the exception of Heavy Metal, Rap, and Worship music.

Currently, my rates are as follows:

$150+ for live performance.

$250 for recording sessions up to 5 hours.
