Drinking Chronicles #24:Wasps

Cinderella’s song about dreams and beautiful wishes is perfect for the Christmas/Holiday season. I tried to keep the delicacy and innocence of the song with theme and progressing variations. Each variant paints a slightly different scene and ambiance. Classic, vintage Disney music brings back to us beautiful childhood memories..It was very difficult to record with acoustic piano and I hope I brought this familiar song some justice!  The theme of the original work was from Franz Liszt's Etude No. 9 Ricordanza of the Transcendental Etudes.

I was honored when https://soundcloud.com/graphicsontelevisions asked me to remake ‘Tattlesnakes’ from their fantastic album ‘Pun’. Maybe it’s the wildest one, unpredictable but coherent, it inspired me immediately !!

I've remixed to my taste their original studio stems (drums & keyboards), adding my own vocals, guitars & more... hard recommendation of headphones again !!

So I met this guy in the demoscene chat (he's more of a cat than a demoscener, he says about himself), his name's Korni. I always greet him with "Corny, the Schokoriegel!" If you search for that in a search engine of your choice, you know what it is! :D At some point, I called him a "choco riegel super freak" and people wondered what that meant. :D Then Mirrorbird, a fellow scener in the chat, said it would be a nice track name... Schokoriegel is German for candy bar. Et voilà! I know, it's a silly story, but that's the background story to that track. At some point I had the idea to add some vocaloid-like lyrics and made that crazy track for Sound of SceneSat 5. Hope you enjoy this silly crazy track! :D Special greets to Korni, Antibyte, Vodkabot and Mirrorbird! Oh yes, lotsa chocolate has been consumed while creating this track! we wake up early and the 
day has yet to break
we pack our treasured things
I don’t know what to take
we hike through the prairie full of
blue eyed grass and rye
and set up cameras 
and wait for brilliant skies

dawn has led us here
daylight drawing near
dusk will come to dress us all
in black and stir our fears
dawn can ruin our shot

we may as well shoot what we’ve got

I switch from from my breaker to my
parka after while
you notice me shiver and you
giggle and we smile
a sip of my coffee and the
sound of distant trains
and race for the shelter
when the clouds pour down their rains
