Ombra International: A Berlin-based home for the furthest, most cosmic excursions. A haven for post-punk purveyors, wave devotees and lovers of all things Italo and disco on a darker, beguiling side. Devotees like label boss Luca Venezia - AKA Curses – a man who’s made it his MO to invite kindred spirits from every corner of the disco loving globe to come out to play. And boy have they played… 
Since launching in 2016 acts from Spain to Australia, Columbia to Berlin have all played a roll on the label’s numbered V/A series. It’s a series that’s become synonymous with mystifying unclassifiable escapades that fuse and flex the most unsuspecting nuances of electronica, rock and all things in between. ‘Ombra INTL 011’ is certainly no exception as we’re introduced to more Ombra hombres whose locations that range from Slovenia (Vitorijoski) to Indonesia (Arvin Fajar) via Russia (Seven Knives), Mexico (Andrem) and Belgium (Naufragi). But their visions share much tighter coordinates. 
Each contributor firing shots from the most filmic of cannons, the whole EP is a feast for the senses from Fajar’s guitar-twanging ghetto-graveyard creeping opener ‘In The Shadows’ right through to the chrome struts and wandering synth strikes of Naufragi’s 23rdcentury jazz finale ‘Virunga’. In between we have the stern Russian new romantic warnings of old label mate Seven Knives in the form of ‘Monoland’, the subversive Latin twangs and tense undulations of Vitorijoski’s ‘And They Leave Me’ and the dubby broken drums and body-funk locomotion of Andrem’s fittingly-titled ‘The Souls Always For Each Other’. They certainly do on Ombra… It’s not called International for nothing.

In the beginning there was a river, later a series of parties, then we gathered as a team of musicians, and now Avacha - is a music label that shows adequate side of contemporary Russian music for club and home. The label location belongs to  the North-Western administrative district, but in fact it is based on the entire surface of the Russian Federation. From Far East, up to european part's suburbs - geography of Avacha musicians as wide as our country is. At this moment the Avacha family is: @wlfstrm, @sevenknives, @Soft Metal, @Volta-Cab / Rambal Cochet, @RadialGaze, @Panorama-Channel, @WhiteMagikmusik.

For almost ten years of existence, the Moscow band @trudmoscow has not lost relevance and still hits in the very heart of Russian reality with their romanticized songs in a good sense.  The album "7" continues the line set by the group, and the @this-is-avacha label presents an original spin-off in the form of remixes collection from Wolfstream, Soft Metal, Electrodynamics aka White Magik, Radial Gaze and Pozhar.

Premiere - Ali X x Ximena - Patitos(Nico Raibak Re-work)[Controlla]

White Privilege is a new label with an interesting approach when it comes to their releases: Hidden behind aliases, the real identity of the artists will remain unknown, creating a secret atmosphere and making us wonder who could be behind the curtains. The curator’s identity of the top-secret imprint shall remain in secrecy as well. What we were authorized to say is that WP is a Mexican label and, for this specific single, two Mexican producers teamed up to provide something unique, freestyle, and unforgettable.

Their second release, “Do U Fuck To Get High?”, was cooked with love by the duo Famou$ After Dead, formed by “DJ Apple II”, a prolific and skilled Deep House/House Music producer, and “DJ Disco Dust”, a troubled artist who had to disappear from the scene because of personal issues. Their single is a psychedelic magic discotheque bomb, bringing together the glitter from Studio 54 and the roughness of Techno, inspired by the legendary Mexican Hi-NRG club “Patrick Miller” and galvanized with samples from a special bootleg edition vinyl record by Sylvester.

Ludviq is the new project of Luis Fernando, born in Guadalajara, MX.
Dj & producer of techno music since 2016, with influences like psychedellic, indie, breaks, post-punk and Nu Disco. With all these influences, Ludviq grabs the sounds from each one and try to create something completely new, most of these sounds are created by analog or digital synthesizers and drum machines.

Maestro Morricone left us forever this past July, however his legacy continues to be a constant inspiration among new generations of producers. Such is the case of Lebollet, a man from Cordoba living in Madrid, who, a few months before the final goodbye to Ennio, was working on his new "Chukraut Western" EP influenced by the most “Spaghetti Western” oeuvre phase of the Italian composer.

Years of sweating in garage bands evidently prepared the Lipsky brothers to break boundaries in commercial club culture with a sound that somehow evokes the essence of psych-rock while never sounding out of place alongside certified technoid bangers.

Their musical breadth as producers speaks to their talent as DJs, with a deep passion for record digging that again conveys very specific sensibilities – a love for the exotic, the yearning for transcendence, as well as the rough rebellious energy of punk. They produce dance music from the margins, full of with narrative, melody, and drama. It’s intense, in a good way.* 

Their affiliations to broad-spectrum labels like Multi Culti, Disco Halal and Correspondant might paint some picture of their range, and their stellar remixes for artists like Nicola Cruz, Adam Port, Autarkic and Polo & Pan may have earned them lots of plays,  but their debut LP ‘Sorry, We Did Something Wrong’ is undoubtedly their most ambitious and elaborate statement to date. Drenched in their influences, rich in collabs with a range of artists like Sepultura’s Igor Cavalera and C.A.R., the record is at once ambitious and, as the title suggests, apologetic. Their capacity for embracing these polarities, a radical boldness tempered by self-consciousness, it may divide the audience, but it shows unmistakable personality.

Simple Symmetry returnes to Multi Culti with an epic, mournful EP called “Problem,” featuring a huge remix by long-time compatriots Red Axes. Another huge edit for CULTED is on deck, as well as a peak-time rework of Drugface, following up on their massive mix of ‘In the Clouds.’
