Flying

Jackman’s concept of comprehensension began to transcend once he realized that the mere presence of the Monument altered the amount of information his mind and biological body could interpret. When he started to imagine himself flying over the conquered terrain that he and his crew had won, the fragile bubble burst. It was all an illusion. The war he thought he had lived through had never happened. Then the Monument echoed his deep, resonant voice, declaring: “Monumentum Realitati.”
The Monument had taught him a lesson: he must now cease dreaming and begin acting; with truth, dignity, and integrity. Jackman felt a sharp pain when he realized he had been fantasizing about unreal things. Yet he also knew that flying high always implies, sooner or later, a descent.
