Everyone knows those times when everything seems to be getting on top of you and the pressure to perform doesn't let up. You feel like you can't keep up. At least that's how I feel right now. For several months now, I've been jumping back and forth in my life, trying to balance delivering at university, working to finance my studies, working on myself and making therapeutic progress, and still finding enough time for friends and family. Finding enough time for my passion for music amid all the chaos seems almost impossible at the moment. What's more, my self-doubt prevents me from openly devoting myself to music because I constantly think I'm not good enough. 

Anyway, this set is a reminder to myself that nothing in life is perfect and that it's perfectly okay to make mistakes as long as you own up to them. A reminder to lose myself more in my feelings again, rather than giving in to my head, which only sees the mistakes. 

So: Feel free to listen to my journey full of ups and downs, which takes me sideways, backwards, and diagonally forwards through my collection, oscillating between old and new, groovy, melancholic, driving, psychedelic, and bouncy sounds, and feel free to leave feedback. <3

With this vinyl set, mojo makes his debut at the infamous Tresor Club in Berlin - showcasing a wide spectrum of his collection, carefully selected for the system, the space and the crowd the event attracts. This edition of New Faces was hosted by the community-driven collective scheissmukke. Members of scheissmukke and mojo share a deep friendship driven by their shared passion for music on wax. 

mojo is a versatile DJ from Cologne who seamlessly navigates between techno, progressive, trance, tribal, psy, house & breakbeats, showcasing his skill in creating a cohesive sound aesthetic across genres. 

With a background as a music journalist, mojo has gained a deep understanding of culture, music production, and the interplay between genres and proofs it with dropping tracks like: Vainqueur - Lyot (Maurizio Mix), a track strongly associated with the Tresor legacy. His in-depth research into different subcultures and a constant search for both new and timeless records have deeply shaped his evolving musical taste and ever-growing collection of records.
