Argentinian-born turned Naarm/Melbourne local Tina Disco has unveiled her latest EP, 'SOL', a blending of the ever-shifting lines between club genres. Across seven tracks, the producer flows between genres, from softer ambience to trance, with a sprinkling of breaks for good measure.

'90s', premiered here via Mixmag ANZ, is delightfully expected. Glistening synth leads float over a bass line perfect for aquatic accompaniment, in a beach-aligned style typical of any sun-drenched piece of nostalgia. 

Of the track, Tina shared:

"If the sand burns my feet, I don’t care, because I’m running into the sea."

'SOL' releases this Saturday, October 4, accompanied by an immersive launch event at CADENA Festival in Naarm. Described as an "ethereal world in constant motion and transformation," Tina's launch will feature a custom spatial setup at the festival, with other performances by DJ Luv You and Baby G.

Egyptian Greyhound lands in Ibiza in the 90s, an Ibiza infected with club and rave culture that blends with the August heat of an island surrounded by crystal clear waters, paradisiacal coves, and white sand, offering ancestral hypnotic and rhythmic experiences. 

This is the leitmotif of this EP: hypnotic house, lysergia, well-paced rhythms, dreamy pads, and summery textures. 

The EP opens with ‘’ Mega Passión’’  a track infected with breaks, piano stabs and reminiscences of 90s house, giving way to I Feel You Close to Me, of which we find two versions and a superlative remix.

The main version is ‘’Original XTC Mix’’  an oral tribute to that glorious era, featuring the iconic Korg M1 with a radiant chord progression. 

‘’Breezy S Remix’’ is vigorous that turns the track around and plunges it into the night. 

Finally, to close the EP, we head to the sand with ‘’Benirras Dreamy Version’’, a wavy declaration of love to the Pitiusas Islands.
