Melodie is a producer and live act from Romania and a key figure on the international Techno / Minimal / Electro scene. Early in his career, Resident Advisor published an exclusive editorial about him, stating that “he’s released two records of a quality far beyond most emerging producers, stripped down and full of personality”; his tracks were also featured in their yearly TOP 50 Tracks charts.

He was featured in XLR8R magazine editorials as well, reaching their yearly TOP 50 Artists charts, TOP 50 Tracks charts, and TOP 50 Readers Poll charts — the only Romanian producer to be included in these rankings.

Melodie was invited to take part in the first-ever Boiler Room in Bucharest, where he delivered an all-vinyl DJ set and was introduced as being at the top of their list and as one of the best DJs and producers in the city. Touring as a DJ for over 10 years across Europe and the USA has given him extensive experience with venues and audiences.

He later developed an impressive custom live act that is both expressive and highly flexible, allowing him to build and improvise tracks on the spot in front of the crowd. This enables him to tailor how sounds are blended based on each venue’s sound system and acoustics, making every performance truly unique — rare, spontaneous, and very much alive.
