I made a remix – an anthem aimed to uplift and bring spirit to the people of North Carolina and the southeast after the devastation of storms Helene & Milton. I wanted everyone, including myself, to remember the power of music as a unifying force, as a call to galvanize the spirit and remind us of who we are. So like Petey Pablo says “Raise Up!”

This is intended to bring spirit and hope back to the people and to raise awareness of the continuing need of the people who are trying to salvage and rebuild. Even more so, I hope it reminds us of the power of the people as we come together as a collective and bolster each other. Because what else is more important?
