The Plumps were a surprise, unannounced addition to the line-up this year and to the delight of an unsuspecting crowd, they lit up the Funktion One stage as the sun was setting on yet another epic B.O.C. Plumps DJs are internationally renown UK DJ/Producer duo Andy Gardner and Lee Rous, whose passion for innovation and non-conformist attitude to electronic music has fuelled their fire for over a decade. Plump DJs RIPEcast - Live from Breakfast of Champions 2013

I did this mix for Groove Radio International in December 2012 as a tribute to the beginning of the early 90s techno scene, known today as EDM (Electronic Dance Music). In 1991, I co-hosted "The MARS FM Top 30 Countdown" with Swedish Eagle. I also had my hands in mixing the tracks together with DJ Robin! Our program also received the number one rated slot in the Los Angeles area from the hours of 12pm to 3pm every Saturday afternoon. MARS FM (Santa Monica, California based radio station) was short lived, but was historic in many ways and was the first FM radio station in Southern California and across the US broadcasting the music heard on this mix 24-7. Swedish Egil continues this mission with his now famous Groove Radio and Groove Radio International.
