Dr. Miriam Lee Burger, MD, Msc, is a Medical Doctor specialized in Sound/Frequency Medicine, a professional Musician & an Entrepreneur at the intersection of music, neuroacoustics, health, and wellbeing. She is the founder of The Swiss Institute for Sound Medicine and Neuroacoustics, Switzerland. The company offers mentorship and consultancy, training and facilitation of acoustic immersive experiences for neuroprevention, health and neuroarts.
Dr. Miriam Lee serves as expert for the United Nations Taskforce in Space Tech for Global Health.

She was part of the core team at the World Health Innovation Summit (United Kingdom) co-developing the U.N.Habitat SDG-Cities 25+5 project and contributing to mandates for the WHO, Vatican, UN-Habitat a.o. on Sonic Medicine, Mental Health and Wellbeing. 

Dr. Lee has worked in the fields of Brain Health and Health Policymaking in Zurich and Geneva's extended international and academic ecosystem (UZH, Campus Biotech, United Nations). In the public-private R&D med tech sector, Dr. Lee has consulted at startups and in venture capital on sonic sciences and music related innovation.

As a performer, composer & string arranger Dr. Lee follows her passion for improvisation, ambient, classical & pop-rock music. She received 12y of Russian-Georgian classical training which laid the groundwork for her music career. She worked as a musician in NYC, L.A., Vienna, Berlin, Zurich, Hamburg in 2007 - 2017. Sonic Medicine became a growing part of her work over the years. 
Artistic project collaborations with: Brunx in L.A., Jason Binnick and Geremy Jasper in NYC, The 21st Century Orchestra, Udo Jürgens, The Pepe Lienhard Orchestra, the Junge Sinfonie Berlin, Mediafisch, Botanica, Cardiac Move, Hallelujah, Loudboy, Peter Mavrogeorgis, Young Mothers, Bodhii Blvd, and others.
