One of the scene’s most exciting new faces has arrived an artist who has spent the last decade meticulously honing his production skills, refining a signature sound that’s minimal, immaculate, and unmistakably his own. After steadily gaining momentum over the past year, with major support from none other than minimal heavyweight Teej, he’s quickly become a name to watch in Drum & Bass.

Re:growth joins the Yamatai imprint with his highly anticipated debut single ‘Nonanom / Take Me’ a devastating two-tracker that’s already turning heads across some of the world’s most iconic clubs, including Motion, Melkweg, and Grelle Forelle

Since making waves with his breakout ‘Get Close EP’ on Empathy Audio in 2024, Kevin (aka Re:growth) has been on an unstoppable rise. Blending dark, minimal textures with a razor-sharp underground sensibility, he’s delivered standout cuts like ‘Pluka’ and ‘Don’t Talk’, earning him a coveted collaboration with minimal maestro Teej on ‘Juxtapose / Mori’. The buzz hasn’t slowed since, with more projects in the pipeline including more upcoming work on Nyx and whispers of a release on Transparent Audio.

His Yamatai debut marks a significant milestone in this upward journey. Both ‘Nonanom’ and ‘Take Me’ are masterclasses in minimal production tracks that have been rigorously tested across European clubs and radio, gaining widespread acclaim.

The release features talented vocalist, Emcee Tell, dropping his signature rhyme style over a beat laid down by Soul Deep's own, Scott Allen.  The Oakland based lyricist, teams up with Long Beach based producer, Scott Allen, to create a Hip-Hop track that fuses thick drums, fluttering Rhodes keys, tasteful scratching, warm bassline, and topped off with Tell's unique vocal prowess.  Cyber Posix is featured on remix duty, and takes the song to a different level by bringing it up to a D&B tempo. Simstah from Bern, Switzerland is one half of Drum&Bass production outfit Konfront.Audio which is featured on a number of international labels such as Flexout, Demand, Fokuz, Syndrome, Soul Deep and Citrus to name a few. Simstah started out Djing at the very early age of ten. After being hooked on Drum&Bass in 1996 he branched out into production in 2008 and is currently working on several different studio projects. Simstahs musical taste encompasses the broad spectrum of Drum&Bass, but he likes to work on the more down-tempo side of things as well. He landed his first solo-release on Structured music in 2015 and has releases on Blendits Audio, Jazzsticks Recordings, Flight Pattern Rec., Dutty Audio, Syndrome Audio and Re:st Rec. . Apart from production Simstah is regularly playing at major Swiss Events such as Darkside at Dachstock Berne or Mute at Hive Zürich.
