Transition Festival 2024 :: Open Trance Experience

Simulation Hypothesis is one of the projects by this versatile musician, especially focused on the psychedelic and experimental areas which still highly underestimated by most people. His work is constant in order to be a step ahead in experimentation without limiting himself to any rule.

Going into his world , you will find his own eclectic style in which a wide range of musical influences from different types of electronic music converge. These beats go from techno to trance, from minimal to dark. It isn´t short of melodic atmospheres, sometimes warm as  in a day on the countryside, and other times dark as from a big city.

This project has its own style, not easy to define, but always fresh and original. A hypnotic energy hides behind the apparent simplicity of his vibes.

Simulation Hypothesis always works with a do-it-yourself philosophy in mind. All sounds are recorded or synthesized  by himself. Acoustic kicks and snares are recorded and loaded in machines in order to be the heart of the rhythm in most of cuts.

His original samples come from analogic synthesizers for the bases, although also are virtuals for higher lines. Roland Juno, Nord Lead or Access Virus are some of the comercial synthesizers that you can hear in his works, as well as some homemade ones that he also uses in his live shows.

Obviously this philosophy of work does not let you work with banks of samples nor with other people´s samples as raw material. The vocal parts are not an exception. They are recorded in his studio. 

As an overall picture, a refined psychedelia can be distinguished; always deep and mental.

Alessandro aka Ale-RT nace en Florencia (Italia) en 1980 y empieza a trabajar muy joven para comprarse su primer consolle de dj a los 15 años y empieza a mezclar tecno con vinilos. Es cuando todo empieza! Inicia a tocar en pequeño eventos locales y con el tiempo y el avanzar de la tecnologia musical se evolve y empieza a tocar con instrumentos digitales y se especializa el universo del psytrance. En 2001 funda con su compañeros el crew "ResisTrance"que se suma a la escena underground italiana tocando y organizando eventos. ResisTrance nace para promover la socialid y la hermandad entre los participantes a eventos sin fin de lucros , ocupando temporalmente lugares abandonados o espacios al aire libre para dichos eventos, empujando de hecho el verdadero concepto original de "rave". El evento mas importante al respeto fue la participacion y cooproducion en el rave "72 Ore di Resistenza": una kermesse libre y sin fin de lucro con duracion de 3 dias sin parar de distintos soundsystem de crew nacionales e internacionales por la fecha simbolica del 25 de abril que en Italia representa un momento historico importante : la liberacion del nazi-fascismo.


Con el pasar del tiempo sigue tocando y colabora con algúnos otros proyectos entre cuáles :


(2000-2006) "Le Teknostorie", un dúo en vivo donde el fallecido poeta italiano Massimiliano Chiamenti recitaba sus poemas caracterizados por sus letras extremas y Ale-RT tocando una musica que iba de sonoridades ambient hasta tekno-hardcore a 170 bpm.


(2019-2020)"Fuimos Venados" , un proyecto de rock psicodélico de Tijuana, Mexico con sonoridades nativas y chamánicas, donde Ale-RT colaboraba como dj


(Actualmente) "Purple Aguacate" , un proyecto de música electrónica tecno-progressive nacido en Zipolite, México , junto con los colegas Nemesis y Ginzu . Muy pronto saldra un EP que ahora está en fase de creación.


Dj Ale-RT ha pisado escenario en varios países de Europa y América de Norte y del Sur, tocando en muchos eventos y festivales internacionales cuales: "La Tierra Prometida" (México), "Transition" (España), "7Chakra" (Italia), y más.
                                                                                        Incluso se ha dedicado a estilos musicales distintos como chill-out mezclados con sonoridades étnicas y al synthwave.

Actualmente, radica en Lima , Perú siguiendo la misma onda con amor y pasión.
